This is by far the worst post office I've ever experienced. Long wait times, rude staff and if you're in a long queue and don't make it to the desk before closing time then you're out of luck. The staff should stop queues forming if they know it won't be possible to serve all customers before closing time rather than letting people queue up for ages only to be told "sorry. Too late". If you can, I'd avoid this post office at all costs.
Worst post office I have ever used! The staff are so rude and god forbid you turn up shortly before closing time because they will literally close the shutter in your face even though they took ages to serve the customer in front, which means your turn tips over 17:30. Disgraceful customer service. I’ve avoided for a long time, due to poor service in the past, but thought I’d give them another chance…. Wish I hadn’t bothered. Happy Christmas!
this post office is a joke! 1. staff are extremely slow 2. staff are extremely rude 3. staff have no bloody clue what they're doing! asked for proof of postage, they said they couldn't provide it because it's Click & Drop, I went to Moredon one afterwards and surprise surprise - gentleman in Moredon post office gave me proof of postage with no issues. Will never use this swamp in Tesco's ever again. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
I try to avoid using this post office wherever possible. Only ever 1 staff member on at a time. One time I sent a parcel and was practically interrogated as to what it was it was an old iPhone. I then on another occasion went to send 12 letters invites and was made to stick the stamps on myself. Sorry - isn’t that what you’re paid to do? Staff are rude. Always massive queues. Going to the post office is supposed to be quick, simple transaction. Anything but here!
On visiting the post office on Thursday with a restless toddler two staff serving and I was at the end of the que when one of them decided a delivery of 2 packages was more important than serving me. The guy blatantly looked at me whilst his colleague was dealing with someone which took 10 mins yes I timed it, my Grandson was getting more fidgety so had to pick him up. Then it was my turn and the lady was obviously fed up, very matter of fact and made me feel as though I was interrupting her day! I have a stressful job myself and my customers always come first no matter how busy I am. He could have easily served me if he had wanted to and a smile and a thank you goes a long way and doesn’t cost anything! Tesco, your customer service was appalling.
Inadequately trained staff - [insisted that a letter to China should be addressed in English, upon checking the Royal Mail web site it stated English or Chinese are both acceptable]. Also long queues with only one person serving often and sometimes the post office closes at lunch during advised business hours, so you have a wasted trip.
Frequently long queues, understaffed, short opening hours. Not open when the school drop off is on. I dread coming here
Please be aware that post office trading hours have changed. These changes have yet to be reflected in the Google business postings. They post office is open 0900 to 1730 Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1230 Saturday and is closed on Sunday.
Rudest people I’ve had to encounter, refused proof of postage and now I can’t claim for my business expenses
Queued for 45mins in the cold to post a package only to be turned away when I was next in queue because they wanted to shut at 5.30pm on the dot. Not the first time this post office let me down either.
