I have had wonderful support from Jess and her team at SN1. They are never overbearing and always appreciative of the candidates circumstances as well as being professional with the employers requirements. Late payments were a result of data connection drop-outs. Authorised personel absence., or me forgetting to send in, but always politely reminded by Hays to submit.
I worked with Lewis Maule @ HAYS, he helped me get the position I am currently at, it was a flawless process and a lot easier than I thought it would be! 10/10 Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a Job :
I recently moved to Swindon to live with my partner and wanted to start with an agency, I was given James Gardner. Honestly, he is bloody useless. I was ALWAYS having to contact him first, ALWAY message him first, and ALWAYS calling him first. 95% of the time I wouldn’t even get a reply for days on end. I’d call up and he would always either “busy” or “in a meeting”. He’d tell me he’d call me, and I would get nothing out of him. He’s cleaning they have over 2,000hrs worth of work that needs to be done but yet isn’t doing nothing to help me start. Honestly I’d go to a different agency or with someone else. I swear NEVER GO WITH JAMES HE IS BLOODY USELESS.
They are pretty good at finding me customer service roles, which is one of 3 they mainly specialise in alongside IT. The only problem I have is the tax code they put me on initially and how they never brought it to my attention until I brought it up with theirs, and their payslip team doesn't make you aware if your documents you send get processed or not, leaving you in the dark and unnecessarily taxed for another week of employment. So it's a 4/5 from me, which may be a bit high, but in honesty it would have been a 5 if it wasn't for the above.
How hard is it to pay your staff?! My partner is 5 days late being paid, we are now 5 days late paying our bills. He has called everyday this week so far and been told it will be sorted today- yeah right! Absolute joke!
I have worked for many agencies in Swindon and I think hays are efficient trust worthy honest and professional. I have always dealt with Jess and would HIGHLY recommend.
Got messed about big time, no job details, ripped off hours and a lower rate than agreed, paid late, paid under, rude, unhelpful,when calling always in a meeting or on the phone, always first to call and they never call back, and bunch of liars even tho went to confront them in office and still they couldn't admit they were wrong, will not work for them again, manors and respect for free, none given so none returned..
Horrible Office Manager. Had the worst experience of my life in this office. Mistreated and really disgusting.
Called receptionist incredibly impolite. In more words called me an idiot and hung up. Won't be getting any service on that basis.
