Tuesday 23rd November 2021:  What a great proper hardware shop, found what I needed for our narrowboat! The lady proprietor was so welcoming, friendly and ever so helpful. Not many of these gems left and I will always support "local" instead of online shopping! Thank you for your help and knowledge..a full 10/10 score. Your hardware shop is a fantastic place and could of spent all day there just browsing...

If you are using dewalt Power tools, if you need to expand, upgrade or add on to anything dewalt I recommend going here. Best prices I can find, beating the Internet most of the time. Any problems they will help you sort it out within warranty period. Also have a eBay shop called abbey power. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Bought a router from their eBay store which was well priced and delivered very quickly. The router had a minor problem on delivery not the shops fault, the router came in a sealed box so it must've been like that when delivered to them. I explained this and Abbey Hardware were really helpful and have arranged for the manufacturer to send out a spare part for the bit that has cracked. Would happily use again/recommend.

Found just what I needed and with a choice of qualities after I found the big names do not stock what I wanted. Great service and product, will try here first next time

Very handy for a whole variety of items if you don't want to go to the big chains. Service generally friendly. Timber mixed quality and l would advise you check it's not warped and full of knots before you leave the store.

A great hardware shop on the outskirts of Shrewsbury Town Centre; its primary focus is as a Dewalt Premier dealer, and you're going to be hard pushed to beat their Dewalt prices if you visit their Ebay store Abbey Power. If anyone is selling cheaper, they are probably selling stolen goods . The stock levels at Abbey are great, and they have a huge range of spares, parts and accessories to boot.

Wonderful shop. Just the way all the old hardware stores used to be. You could spend all day and half your pay in here, it really is so interesting. You can't remember the specific product details? Ask any of the assistants, they will know or find whatever you need. Please will they open a store near our home?

Abbey Hardware overlooks the Abbey and there is either on street parking just 100m up the road or a public car park over the road. The team were very helpful in the phone and had in stock exactly what I needed.  Definitely nice to have this tool and hardware store on the doorstep to Shrewsbury Town.

Refused to send goods to UK address because of Brexit. Leaving NI in the dark because of profit. I was willing to pay the correct postage but he wanted more.
