In a time where most shopping is done online, I am old school and I love to go into a store and meet people ,talk about the product and get a real feel of what I'm buying. Today I had just that. What a welcoming young man (wink wink) knowledgeable about his stock giving good advice and generally just really nice and polite. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to your store ,certainly purchased some gucci kit and at awesome prices. I will be definitely spreading the word to all my military peeps. If you need good solid kit, good prices, a good variety and the odd surprise then Aaron's is the place to visit. I do not make a habit of writing reviews but when the experience and customer service is on point it would be rude not to.

Absolutely fantastic shop. There's a (rather surprising!) variety and amount of items available, enough that each glance across the shop or browse on the railings will turn up something new and interesting. Best of all is the staff, who were not just helpful (translating "I'm looking for something like this..." into "this is exactly what I'm looking for!" multiple times), but also really friendly, with a very infectious enthusiasm, and with a clear love for what they're selling. In short - looking forward to going again!

I had a great first visit to consider my options for purchasing a hard-wearing field jacket. Well worth the effort in travelling in from London. Very easy to reach by taking the 287 bus outside Barking Station. I received exceptional attention and friendly expert advice . The owner spent considerable time getting to know me and my requirements. He offered some attractive 'bundle' deals with a jacket and explained the options. At no time was I ever pushed to buy and didn't on this occasion, as I needed some time to absorb my choices. The owner was incredibly honest about checking competing shops. They are most unlikely to give such personalised advice that puts the customer first. Indeed most of the surplus and vintage clothes shops I've visited in London have been nowhere near as motivated or knowledgeable. Caution is vital when purchasing military surplus clothing, especially online. How will you know prior to purchase if it will fit, is in good condition and is genuine forces' issue? This shop gives the customer that assurance and it was a true pleasure to visit.

Great service and prices plus selection. What a wonderful bunch of staff. Can't wait to go back. Bought an alpha cw45 and got a great discount on it .also treated my son to kids gear and gave him a little present too. Seriously friendly owner and staff.

Fantastic shop! I've been to a few army surplus stores in my time but I've never been anywhere so welcoming and with such an incredibly eclectic range of items to browse. Literally could spend a whole day there chatting to the staff and always finding something rare and interesting to talk about. Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend. Excellent customer service too.
