A top, top garage. Tony is an extremely accomplished mechanic: meticulous, thorough, and clearly runs you through all the work that is going to be done; as well as offering great advice throughout. If you own an Audi, this is the place to go. In fact, if you own any car, this is the place to go. And if you happen to own an A2, you simply have to take it to Tony!

Trying to force me to pay £40.44 by threatening all sorts of legal action with attorneys etc, for a rear view mirror that was originally a loaned part and no request to return it has been made and for also having the audacity of trying to charge for labour when I fitted it myself. Tony will lick your arse at first to get your business and when he has got it he will treat you like you are obliged to use him exclusively and then the prices he charges for servicing and work done will go up and up. AVOID this grotty little man at all costs.

A wealth of expertise for the A2. I bought a 1.6 FSI with OpenSky roof from some crook on Autotrader, having little choice as I needed the five-seat option. Little did I know that I had bought the most failure-prone spec of A2 out there. I am a competent home mechanic but can only really be effective with a decent baseline to start from and good advice. After an extended sojourn at A2Cars (throughout which I was provided with a courtesy car) in spring 2016, the car came back a different beast with a whole litany of engine and other faults fixed. The bill was big but as one in professional services, I am happy to pay properly at the hourly rate fore highly skilled labour as long as I don't get rinsed on parts. To my delight, the parts were charged pretty much at trade rate and all of the labour broken down into its component parts. I wasn't feeling so wealthy this year so having fitted a replacement OpenSky, I left it for a specialist sunroof future-proofing modification (if your OpenSky is working, get this fitted and follow Tony's maintenance instructions) and misfire diagnosis, which turned out to be a failed fuel injector. Owing to time and money constraints, I took the car away after the sunroof mod and a full ignition/fuel system check + diagnosis to clean the roof and DIY the fuel injector replacement at home, which they said was almost certainly the problem. They were right: after a happy day of sunroof cleaning, injector replacement and inlet manifold removal/fitting, I now have a car that does us all credit. To be fair, you kind of have to prove your credentials to get them to trust you to repair your own car, but once established, they are very happy to work with you, advise, diagnose and (I guess, it's never happened to me) pick up the pieces if it goes wrong. I have spent a very large sum of money with them over the last couple of years and a whole lot more besides on parts that I've fitted myself - it is all money well spent.

Is 1/2 a star not available? Poor poor poor. I paid for parts to be fitted that weren't but charged for it. Went in needing a cambelt and water pump 6 months later needs a new head! Save your money.

Hi ..I bought an A2 recently and wasn't to sure if the vehicle was roadworthy...so I drove it over to A2 Cars MK ...I was greeted by a very polite and angelic lady who just happened to be the owner..I asked her for some advice and she gave the vehicle a quick check over and founds a few faults which her and her team rectified..I left the garage feeling confident in my A2.. I can't remember her name but I would like to thank her for being so helpful and reassuring..
