Nicky and Andrew fitted my whole house with faux wood venetian blinds yesterday and did an amazing job, they were so efficient and friendly! So happy with the quality of the blinds and the fitting! From start to finish of the measuring, ordering and fitting was a great experience very pleased! Thank you so much lads!!
Trevor came out and measured for my venetian blinds last Wednesday. He was very nice, had samples and talked me through the various options. I had a written quote from a competitor which was considerably less expensive. As I was a previous A1 customer Trevor made a call to a manager and a much more favourable price was agreed. I have to say that A1 were much more professional than the competitor in every way. The new blinds were fitted this afternoon by Mark who completed the job quickly and with no mess. I don't hesitate to recommend A1 Blinds and would definitely use them again if needed.
Asked for a quotation, someone came measured up. I have one huge window and he struggled measuring it at the time. When the fitter came to fit the blind for some reason his ladders weren’t big enough to complete the job. So left , no word in when will be back, nothing. I called up to ask what was going on and spoke to a lovely lady who was very helpful. She told me it would be past onto customer services. Unfortunately customer services aren’t interested in complaints. She unhelpful and abrupt. And I requested to speak to a manager I was told you have to put it in writing to speak to a manager. Shame this company was recommended to me. Am not waiting to see what happens next. Still waiting.
Excellent service from A1 blinds. From the phone call, measuring up with the different options available and to fitting was first class. Highly recommended for service and value.
I have done all my four bedroom house with A1 blinds: roller,Evision and roman blinds. I booked free measurements, we’re staff was very professional and knowledgeable! I also would like to praise Ross the fitter, he was above and beyond expectations! Big thank you A1 Blinds-Blaydon team !
I would highly recommend A1 Blinds! The are extremely competitive in price and the quality is excellent! The guy that came to fit them, was absolutely amazing! Extremely professional, helpful and friendly. He definitely deserves recognition for his work.
Very Disappointed with Shutters, can only close them one way, hinges fitted I believe incorrectly, more Frame than shutter, uneven amount of slats on bottom to top, just make sure you tell them what you want and make sure you get a good drawing of what you expect. Paid a lot of money only to be disappointed I have contacted A1 but basically told they are what they are.

Would definitely recommend this company, from my first of several visits to the showroom in Blaydon , the staff were patient and very helpful. They offer a free measuring and estimate service, again the guy was super efficient, patient and had a great sense of humour after I'd changed my choices again Then within days a call to say the blinds were ready. The fitter was fast and very professional. I will stay with this company as they are excellent to deal with and well below the price of two other quotes we had received.
We had a number of blinds fitted in our house 15 in total and we are really pleased with the service and quality. The sales team in Blaydon through to the fitters who came to our house today were friendly and professional. We have used A1 in the past and were not disappointed and our recent purchase is the same. Would recommend - great value and service. Thanks
