Shop owner knowingly sells out of date products. Today is 12th November 2017, please see the attached photo of cheesestring purchased from here (23-Oct-17 expiry date - 3 weeks out of date DAIRY product). He also turns the fridges off at night when the shop closes to save money on electricity running costs, and turns them back on the next day - although most Asians do this. (You can tell by condensation that form inside sealed packaging, for example lots of water droplets inside a Rustlers Chicken Sandwich, show that the fridges are turned off at night and back on in the morning). So avoid buying anything like milk, dairy, meat from here. ESPECIALLY AVOID MEAT and the fresh things like sandwiches. Also be aware: the shop owner is an asian/indian man (Sikh, but doesn't wear turban) with very good English, however, he usually pretends not to be the owner/gaffa. Today (Sunday 12th Nov) I brought up the cheesestring being 3+ weeks out of date, but he refused to refund me and was rude about it. Also the remaining cheesestrings that are out of date were left out on shelf for customers to buy. The owner will often say things like "the gaffa is in the back" or "ok, I'll let the gaffa know". (gaffa being slang for the shop owner). This guy is the owner, lol. You can check on the Companies House business registrar. The indian worker with very good English is also racist. I attempted to purchase 2 items from this shop: 1 x Rustlers Chicken Sandwich - £1.50 sticker on it 1 x Cheesestring (out of date) - 39p label on the box of cheesetring on the shelf (Obviously I didn't realize it was out of date until I left) The owner (who pretends not to be the gaffa) said to his 13 year old teenage son (child labour laws), "charge him £2.50". The cheek of it, trying to overcharge. I pointed out that you are overcharging me, and it should be £1.89. It's almost like one rate for our community, for our kind, and higher prices for the whiteys (referred to as Gori, Gura, Chittar by this owner/gaffa native language). He then finally relented and said fine £1.90. I said it should be £1.89 and he said "do you want to buy the stuff or not?" Very very rude, especially being with this cheesestring (dairy product) out of date and attempted overcharge! The worker often has his 2 teenage boys hanging about in the shop near the front door: you will notice they have all the latest clothes and nice new trainers: I wonder bloody why! They also serve customers which violates child labour laws. This review is 2 stars (instead of 1 star) only because the shop opens early, even on Sunday which is very helpful if you need goods. I would just advise to CHECK THE DATES and to note that HE is in fact the owner. Don't listen to this BS about "the gaffa is here or there" or "the gaffa says I can't sorry" He didn't recognize me as one of his regulars, I seriously cannot believe he overcharges non-regulars to the shop, particularly the white ones.

Picked a parcel up from here and got sworn at because I didn't have proof of address. The card left stated only photo ID was needed but the shop owner refused to give me the parcel at first as my ID didn't show page my address. When I queried this, he became aggressive and repeatedly used the F word in front of my small child, ranted about how he isn't even getting paid for this and at one point almost threw the parcel at me. Absolutely shocking and intimidating experience, I was actually going to buy some things after collecting the parcel, but will never enter this shop again and make sure my neighbours and friends in the area also know to avoid this place.

Having visited the store for the first time today I will not be entering again. Bar not even knowing their own address. But the lady who works there would not stop talking about her son and some clinic that helps a person stop smoking, then having the audacity to say that I talk alot. Stop inteferring in my life then and asking nosey questions!!!
