We went to Zizzi for a company dinner. We enjoyed several table starters as well as individual plates. The food was fantastic and we had great service. Among our dishes was lasagna, and one of their new specials and ask were very good. The lasagna was served in a piping hot pan and took quite a bit of time to cool. Be very careful to let it cool if you order this dish! We had a great overall experience.
We had 3 different servers which was strange but the last server was amazing. The sharing platter we had definitely took the cake and was the highlight of the dinner. The toilets were very impressive. Only reason it's not 5 stars as the food took over 40 min to arrive and we feared we would miss our movie.
First visit to Zizzi with my partner. Great service, lovely decor and the food was hot, delicious and very enjoyable. The flavours tantalised the taste buds, the quality of food was A++. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu! Thank you.
Food was nice enough. The garlic bread is excellent. The total bill was quite pricey for what it is though. Service wasn't the best - we felt we were always struggling to get someone to come over.Food: 3/5
The food was amazing and the staff were ever so friendly and welcoming. This is arguably the best Italian restaurant and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend.
Had meal here before going to theatre. First thongs we ordered we not available, so we picked another option, not a problem, but as we started our mains, a group of three women with three young children came and sat next to us, the women were engrossed in their cocktails and mobiles and totally ignored the three brats running around the restaurant, even in the way of the waitresses carrying hot food, we asked our waitress what was the restaurants policy on kids running riot, our waitress was obviously very nice at her job and didn't know, but said she would mention it to the manager, the manager then came over a d offered us another table, bit late tho as we were nearly finished our meals, so we declined, the manager did try and retrieve the situation by offering us free drinks which was nice but didn't take away the fact that these kids had ruined our meal. When then paid the bill and went off to the theatre. Apart from that food was ok as normal in zizzis, we had mozzarella balls for starters then I had spag carbonara and my partner had the calzone, which did have far too many chilli's in it to be honest.
Met here for a quick business lunch. Food was delicious - had Calzone and side salad - atmosphere was average and service was OK but we had to wait a long time for a few things.Food: 5/5
Lovely surroundings and staff. I chose the sausage ragout which was nigh on inedible. The pasta was beautifully cooked but the sauce was gritty and greasy and tasteless. Our lovely waitress reported back to the kitchen and a no quibble no charge was offered. Everything and everyone was great, just a shame about my meal.
This was the second time we have visited this restaurant and the second time it has been an excellent experience. The food was great but both times, the service was what stood out and made our night. Magda deserves a special mention. I know the Hosp. industry and my partner runs a restaurant. We know a little about good service. This lovely lady nailed it. 10/10. Thank you! and hope to return next time we are in town.
Staff do not listen. Poor service, by the third attempt, still couldn’t get the order right.. We normally go to the Farnham branch even tho the Basingstoke branch is closest to us, but unfortunately the level of quality just isn’t there. Awful and Would Not Recommend At All!!
