Lovely restaurant very accommodating. Food was delicious, seeing the pizzas being made and cooked in the open wood fire oven was lovely. I had the goats cheese ravioli and it was amazing - would definitely have it again. My husband had had calzone which was a decent sized portion! Food for children was also good. Deserts were amazing I had honeycomb cheese cake it comes with meringues on top! Happy family all round
The food was very tasty, but the service was appalling, the food took an hour and the staff was the opposite of attentive, messing around instead of serving us. Quite disappointing.
Food amazing service was fabulous and always good value.
Four stars largely based upon the shear effort and hard work that the staff put in at this. Food as expected just ok and surprisingly bland for Italian service excellent.
After eating here a few months ago and having a negative experience, I decided to try it again and with the family off we trot. What a difference the waiter/waitress made to the whole experience. Ordered the same as last time the waitress this time didn't even write the order down just remembered it all!!, she engaged with ourselves and our Two little ones.. delivered everything as ordered, customised our experience to suite our needs and got the maths right at the end unlike the previous visit. Just shows places are worth giving another try.. just make sure you get a decent server.
Lighting too bright, garlic bread seemed short of the garlic butter but evidence of rosemary, service was fine, but perhaps a little slow at times, the ambience was poor, could do with candles for the evening period. Lots of other restaurants looked busier, perhaps the menu needs a full refresh, rather than a couple of items.Food: 3/5
Very good, Staff attentive, but not overbearing. Food tasty and drinks - even freshly made mint tea! Would recommend.Food: 4/5
VEGANS: be careful. I was given a meal with real dairy cheese in it and only told about a few slices in. The manager was very polite and gave us a voucher and allowed us not to pay for the entire meal rightly so. However, the accident was on behalf of the kitchen. Not the waiters. I won’t be coming back which is a shame as zizzis is my favourite Italian for vegans. Ended up in tears and forcing myself to throw up. Not how I expected to end the night!
Food was great, service seemed a bit all over the shop. Didn't help a male waiter complaining behind me to other staff, abit annoying to be in ear shot of.Food: 5/5
