I have had some really bad Indian food but nothing really beats Zeera. But that wouldn’t be a reason enough for me to make an effort to leave a review, it was genuinely the worst restaurant experience of my life.nnWe had travelled the entire day yesterday and were starving since it was a bank holiday everything was shut. Zeera was open and it smelled really good, credit where it’s due.nnService : The four of us were the only ones in the place and yet it took them an hour to get our food. We kept calling and nobody responded. We were in a rush to get out to reach back home but had to spend over 2 hours in the place. WITH JUST OUR TABLE TO SERVE!nnFood: the food had sooo much colouring, I could paint the world red and still be left with some. There was no balance of flavour.nnPrice: it was very reasonably priced…specially for the effort that we know an Indian food requires BUT they gave us a hand written bill which over 10 pounds extra… none of us bothered to check the bill as you don’t expect them to charge you over, but they did.
Not bad but won't be rushing back anytime soon. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly but for me the food let it down. I don't like sweet curries so I stay away from ones that traditionally are. So when I order a Vindaloo I don't expect it to taste sweet and it was also very runny and not particularly hot! My garlic, chilli and cheese naan just tasted of cheese but my rice and saag aloos were nice.
Lovely and cosy place to eat. The staff are very friendly and the food is devine.
Fantastic meal. Wasn't sure what to have, let Nahid & Jabir recommend and was not disappointed.nGreat flavour and great customer service. Highly recommend.
Very good food and a lovely atmosphere! The waiter was amazing and very friendly and he made sure we're having a good time. We were just passing by, but we'd love to go again sometime.
