Zaap Thai is bringing Bangkok's world famous street food to Nottingham city centre. Opened in November 2015, Zaap Nottingham is the sister restaurant of the buzzing Leeds original - come and experience why both cities have fallen in love with our authentic, fresh and vibrant Thai street food!

Zaap is a fun spot. Really interesting and certainly unique street food decor interior. The food is authentic with lovely waiting staff. CAN be overpriced in parts of the menu but for the most part worth checking out if you like Thai food. Book if you head Thursday to Sunday. Like all good spots, it’s popular!!

It has a really nice atmosphere and the decor is amazing! They've clearly spent a lot of time designing the place - to give it an authentic look. The tables aren't too close together. The staff are really attentive and friendly. The food arrived quick and for the whole table - so no one had to wait while everyone else ate. They have a lot of options to choose from and everyone enjoyed what they had. Overall, a nice place for different occasions. I would definitely recommend them.

I love the atmosphere of the place but wasn't impressed by the treatment by staff members. We could only sit on the front as they said it's busy but when we went to check the back most of the desks were empty. One of the waitresses took my plate where I put the crackers from the soup I wanted to save later. The food is delicious but do some research on what you want to order as some plates are really small compared to others for the same price. I also wanted to get some really spicy and hot food but my soup was between strong and mild.

Food here is amazing! I used to eat here 2/3 times a week the only issue i ever had was the food being different levels of hot every time once we ordered it and the food was way to hot others not hot enough! But the actual taste and quality of the food was amazing and there starters are to die for definitely 4/5 great value for money as well

The restaurant is simply amazing, and i felt like home in Asia with the staffs cooking right in front of you in the restaurant at the open kitchen (like many street food places in Asia/Thailand).. food was great, but slightly on the high side for the price. It may get very busy in weekends peak hours, so do come early than usual to avoid crowd
