Very nice space, well located. The food was well presented, but on seasoning, I felt was adapted to a foreign taste, could be Spicer and seasoning like in Asian food. Overall you could taste the quality of the food. The service was good, was a pity they forgot the second beer I ordered. It was a pleasant evening thank you and I hope my review somehow, helps to polish the little need to thrive.
Excellent bottomless brunch at Yum Sa! The food was absolutely incredible and of a very high quality. The wine that came with the bottomless option was also really good quality. The service was very professional and we never had to wait for our glasses to be topped off. We will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
I never enjoyed soft shell crab like how we did at Yum Sa. Every item we ordered tasted great and nothing disappointed. The best items we had were the satay chicken, grilled prawns, and the soft shell crab. Massaman curry was good too. Jungle curry was alright. The cocktails were also good with their unique twist on the traditional cocktails. Do note the pictures of the food are outdated as it looks like they may have changed their menu. For instance we wanted to try their pad Thai wrapped in omelette but didn't see that particular dish in the menu. There is a pad Thai but there was no mention of omelette in it. So we didn't order it. Also we went in assuming the portion size are also small based on the images but when the food looked much bigger when we saw the food in front of our eyes. So order accordingly.
I would give it 6 stars if I could. Went here for my birthday it’s definitely 10/10 and I would recommend it to everyone. Went straight to my top 5 places in London. Delicious food, proper happy hour cocktails made with love not run down with ice or syrups and juices brilliant service, lovely manager, fantastic atmosphere and music Ibiza classics If I owned a restaurant it would be exactly like this one. Can’t wait to come back and maybe try an outside area if we are lucky to get the sun. This guys executed it brilliantly
The restaurant is literally opposite East Putney Station. We believe the restaurant is opened by Thai Malaysian. Their dishes can be quite spicy. Loving the crispy aromatic duck for starter. Good place to chill and great food.
Lovely décor and a clean, modern looking restaurant. However, I find this place to be very overpriced for what it is. I found there to be too much fusion in the dishes the menu itself is not really Thai and rather a mixture of inspirations from various S.E. Asian countries and some of the key dishes lacked an authentic taste. I did appreciate that they added creativity and twist in some of their dishes, so if fusion and fancy cocktails are your thing then this is a great place for a social meal
Ambience and service were great. Decor is great and location is too. To start, we got the har gau dumplings, okra tempura and fried squid- the okra tempura was definitely the highlight but all the starters were great. For mains we got the softshell crab which was fantastic and full of flavour. We also got the beef rendang which lacked flavour and we found a hair in the food, not great. We got the Thai zerotini mocktail which tasted like a vegetable smoothie, not great. We had a discount and our bill was around £50-60 which was well worth it.
Firstly, I'd like to say that my original review was going to be 5 stars as the food, cocktails and service were all excellent! HOWEVER, we did get a bit of a shock when the bill arrived. They have a board outside saying '£7 cocktails all day every day', but it turns out this is only if cocktails are ordered from the bar. On review, it does say '@ the bar' on the board, but I still think this is misleading as why are the cocktails £7 only if ordered from the bar? But full price when you are trying to support them further by making a booking, ordering food as well and when the cocktails are made in the exact same bar as the £7 ones?!! It was one of the main reasons we booked a table here was the allure of £7 cocktails as one wouldn't think there would be a difference in price on where in the restaurant you ordered your drinks from! Anyways, future visitors, BEWARE of this! A sour end to an otherwise enjoyable evening.
We had a great time! Food was delicious, atmosphere, decor, service and company was spot on! Would definitely recommend! 5⃣Food: 5/5
Enjoyed a lovely late lunch sitting out on the terrace in the sunshine. The food was delicious, service was friendly. It’s a big restaurant with lots of space. There is a good selection of drinks. It’s at the higher end of the price scale for Thai food and I’m not sure the full experience matches up with what they charge, so would say it’s more expensive than I expected it to be. It was £75 each, for a starter, a main, a cocktail and half a bottle of wine one of the cheaper bottles.
