Popped in to surprise my little brother with a hamster. Got everything we needed for him as well as a new Syrian. The man who sorted us was very helpful and made sure we had the correct size cage etc.
I wasted my petrol yesterday, I got an email saying call in for special birthday treats for my dog, as her birthday was coming up! The one I wanted was a box gift 20% off price with doggie cakes, pizza looking treats etc. When I asked I member of staff, who was a supervisor, she told me that they hadn't had any of the birthday box sts in for a long time!!!!!! But didn't know why If your a VIP Member, they have your address, so why don't the Head Office check that your local store ACTUALLY SELLS the items they tell you about, BEFORE THEY SEND THEIR EMAILS????? It was a good job it was for a dog and not a child! At least she couldn't understand what the girl said! Also hiring to many young inexperienced staff, that know nothing about pets furry or otherwise?
We've recently welcomed 2 kittens into our family so visited the Pets at Home Crewe store to get supplies. Kate who served me was fantastic, really friendly and helpful, explaining that if I downloaded the app and registered I could get lots of discounts and offers. I ended up with 20% off everything I bought that day, free kitten food and lots of other discounts for the future, as well as great advice and tips. Kate was really great and is an asset to the store and company. Will definitely be returning. Thankyou for helping a new cat mum!
Good selection of things for lots of different animals. Friendly staff but they do seem a bit rushed off their feet. Queues were long but staff did what they could to reduce them.

The staff are very friendly.. their knowledge of products is second to none.. they even saved me money on my purchases.
I have got to be honest, I love pets at home, it has everything for everyone. The Puppy pack vouchers are great and save a lot of money, so thank you Pets at Home. If you have not got the VIP card, its a must.
Pets at home is a really good place to shop But if you want to make use of an offer, but the supplies are low then it's very disappointing.

Very kind people working there but such limited choices with purchase. Not many good and proper dog foods. I finaly bought one but it is not even my second choice. But of course, all the very, very bad dog foods and treats are everywhere there. Not even one bag of treats without chemicals or other additives. Home birds had 1! type of food only available and it is a very bad made, pets at home brand. Why? You should be helping us and our animals but You are like a supermarket, not an animal focused store. Shame . Again, I will underline that staff tried very hard to be helpful in a kind manner.
