Did business via phone and had fantastic service. Had to wait for Apex rapide Pro to come from manufacturer but all went smoothly and got pink panels daughter wanted in post via Royal mail. Manager was informal but professional how I like it! And even got onto manufacturer to chase whilst I was listening ! If any issues he will sort it pronto! This is a genuine review from grateful Bristol lady and her daughter with MS!
Went there a few yeas ago to by an escooter, worst mistake. The owner of the shop was not nice at all. I had to return the scooter and had a big argument with me and brother. Please do not buy from here . Wish I could give zero stars
After sales is appalling at this shop paid £2000 for a fold up mobility scooter within 3 months I had to return it and was told it hasn't happened with anyone else, 5 times the same fault happened just would cut out, had to practically beg him to let me put more money towards a more expensive one but his whole attitude was awful said he hope's he doesn't see me back in his shop, such a lovely man when your buying from him
Second item we have bough this time a riser recliner chair. Dave is very helpful & theirs no rush spending time to make the right choice. Delivered at a time that suited us & removed & disposed of our old chair for free…… this is customer care of the highest level thank you Dave & your delivery driver
I needed the batteries on my scooter to be replaced. I initially spoke to someone in the shop who was very helpful. He passed on all of my details to David, who contacted me quickly. Arrangements were made to come out to my Sheltered Accommodation to carry out the necessary work. My scooter is running like new again! Thanks to everyone at Youngs!
I have never ever been treated so awfully in my life, I suffer from anxiety and the man who works here seriously triggered my condition. It was like I was invisible, ignored me completely, kept walking away when I tried to talk to him, not once made eye contact, even handed me a catalogue while talking to a customer he obviously knew, again like I wasn’t there. Was it because I’m female?? Was it for another reason…I’ve zero idea, I just know I was sickened by this treatment. I felt angry with myself that I didn’t speak up at the time, but I would have gotten emotional. As someone going through a very tough time with mental health issues, this man made me feel invisible, like I didn’t exist, which is something I’ve fought to not feel. It takes absolutely nothing to be kind. The other man in the shop was really nice, spoke to me, made me feel welcome, yet he was a customer. I was going to buy my mum a recliner chair, but I will be shopping elsewhere, and I would recommend to anybody to do the same. Disgraceful disgusting behaviour, I was shocked and saddened.
Just to echo the other reviews. I'm very impressed with Youngs. The batteries on my power chair were on their last legs. I had considered buying a set online and replacing them myself, but gave Youngs a call on a relative's recommendation. Two days later, an engineer from Youngs fitted my new batteries right there in my living room and took my old ones away with him. All for a price that was comparable with the cost of batteries alone online. Everyone was very helpful and friendly throughout.

They did my service on my mobility scooter for me. I had noticed that there was a issue with my battery holding power and told them, they replaced that for me. My scooter felt like a new one again when I got it back. Also if you are local they do drop off and pick up for a small fee. I was very happy with all of the interactions I had with this business hence the 5 star rating.
What a nice Company to deal with! David Young went to my Sister's house, picked up faulty scooter batteries, tested over night and had replacements with her the following day. No Hassel, no heavy sales pitch, just good honest service. A pleasure to do business with you!
