Sadly just packing up after a wonderful weekend. Family celebration at a lovely location, lodge is fab and overlooks the lake (best location) - perfect for chilling in the hot tub ❤️. Welcome surprise of flowers, chocolate and bubbly left for my daughter who is celebrating her 18th went down a treat. 15 mins from york so perfect for a shopping trip and dinner - also did a day trip in harrogate only 50 mins away. All in all perfect for a chilled weekend will definitely visit again.

Had two great stays at Goosewood over the past couple of years. The lodges are clean, tidy, well equipped, warm and comfortable. The facilities are great for families, it's quiet and tranquil and the little ones will love waking up to see ducklings by the pond in the morning. It's not far from amenities in York, you can get to Whitby, Scarborough and the other coastal resorts relatively quickly and the Moors are also a short drive away. Even if the weather is poor you can use the pool, and the clubhouse is good for a change of scenery. The staff are very accommodating and down to earth too. We will be back again in the not too distant future!

Stayed in Tranquility in July 2015. Very well named lodge. So tranquil sitting in the hot tub with my glass of wine watching the wee Ducks swimming on by. Lodge itself is immaculate and very well equipped. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Great location for visiting York. We used the park and ride all the time. We loved our stay so much we are booked to return in July this year.

Recently stayed in the holiday lodge. It was very clean & tidy. Furnishings to a high standard. Comfortable bed & sofa. Excellent Facilities especially the TV. Hot tub excellent temperature and very clean easy to use. Really good range of local establishments to eat out. Overall experience very good. would stay again.

We stayed in the Serenity Lodge in May 2015. The lodge was spotless and perfect for a short break. The milk and biscuits were a nice touch and much appreciated after a long journey. We did lots of cycling, there are lots of quiet roads to explore and the hot tub was perfect to soothe our tired legs! We stayed with our 2 sons and they loved the site, the location is perfect and the park and ride buses make it so easy to visit York. We are planning to visit again this year and stay in one of the new lodges which look fantastic.
