I've tried several hot yoga studios in Birmingham, and Sweat Yoga stands out as the best by far. The studio is spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with separate changing rooms and showers for both men and women—something that many other studios lack. The instructors are fantastic, and the classes, which reach a powerful 40 degrees, really do the job. The staff are always helpful and welcoming. They mentioned that they’ll bring back the lunchtime classes if enough people ask for them, so I’m hoping to see those return in the fall.
Lovely clean modern space, very friendly atmosphere. Beginners are definitely welcome but there are always options to challenge yourself further in the class. Classes are diverse with all types of people so you will definitely feel welcome and comfortable!

They are warm and possess a genuine passion for yoga. They mainly do hot yoga classes but there is a variety of classes offered and each yoga instructor has their own unique way of delivery. Whether you're seeking a vigorous Vinyasa flow to invigorate your body or a restorative class to soothe your soul. The classes are thoughtfully curated to cater to practitioners of all levels, from beginners to seasoned yogis. The instructors guide you through each pose with clarity and encourage you to listen to your body, fostering a non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere. The sense of community at Yoga Sweat is palpable. I felt welcomed from day one, and the friendly staff and fellow practitioners create a warm and inclusive environment. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a newcomer to the practice, I recommend Yoga Sweat for its exceptional instructors, welcoming community, and the rejuvenating experience it offers.
I recently had the pleasure of attending classes at Yoga Sweat, and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The yoga instructors are all highly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and it really shows in the quality of their classes. One thing I particularly loved about this studio is the variety of classes they offer. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, there's something for everyone here. I particularly enjoyed the gentle yoga classes, which were perfect for me as someone who is still fairly new to yoga. Overall, I can't recommend Yoga Sweat enough. Whether you're looking to improve your physical health, reduce stress, or just enjoy some much-needed relaxation, this studio has everything you need. I was visiting Birmingham on a business trip from the USA. I called, and they very politely helped me find a class. Then, when I arrived, they were super nice and helpful. As a solo male attending a yoga class, I personally felt awkward, but they really helped me feel at ease. The receptionist was great. I forgot the name of the instructor from tonight's class, but she showed me around the studio, so I felt comfortable and really tried to include me in the class. Both of their kindness felt genuine. If I lived here, I would definitely come back again, and if I travel here again for work, I will 100% make sure to preemptively schedule a class into my trip somehow. A real 5 stars here.
This studio has literally saved my life. The team are so welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly; it doesn't matter if you know nothing about yoga or are an advanced yogi, there's a class for you. They supply the mats, blocks and belts, and there are shower and changing facilities available if you wish to use them. It always smells incredible and from the moment you walk in the door you can feel the calming energy wash over you. The classes range from complete beginner, to traditional practice, and my favourite a range of hot yoga practices. You can attend classes with the same structure or ones that vary every session, and know that no matter your skill level, there is no insecurities to be had - only growth : Thank you to the wonderful Jemima and the yoga teachers for making such a home for me at your studio!
By far the best yoga school/studio I’ve been to in Birmingham. They offer a variety of classes with inspiring, informative and knowledgeable teachers. A great space for all abilities; from beginner to advanced, they cater for everyone.
Definitely the best yoga studio in Birmingham, I’ve tried most of them. Clean, relaxing studio, knowledgeable teachers. I love the hot yoga and relax and restore classes. The people are welcoming and none judgemental, all at a variety of levels, you never feel inadequate. Cannot recommend it enough
Love this place.I was nervous about going on my own as I had never done yoga before. I was made feel at ease straight away. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. If you are going solo or with friends this is a great place to start learning your practice.
This place is everything I was looking for from a yoga studio. Offers a variety of courses for all levels and all appetites: one can choose to do hot yoga for exercise and learn how to train and strengthen muscles in discipline and by using right breaths but also yin and yang or relaxing classes to get more meditation time and stretching. My favorite classes are the jivamukti yoga ones with Raman. Would definitely recommend!
