Use to visit this authentic korean restaurant often. In December 2017 this restaurant has changed management and chef. It’s my first visit since the new management took over and everything is a shamble. First impression as you walk in is dark, ordered a few starter and then BBQ. The meat was bad quality meat, looks like a pile of turd. The plate was so burnt they did not change it. They put the raw meat with the cooked meat to cook at the same time. When you question the owner, his rude response was the meat is approved by the council. Not sure what that is suppose to mean. The whole experience was extremely bad. Avoid at all cost unless you want food poisoning and agreesive service.

Yijo is now definitely reopen, regardless of what it says online! Went last week with friends, the restaurant is a little out of the way, but worth the trip. The Korean style BBQ is fantastic - the meats are tender, very flavoursome and decently portioned. The pricing is very reasonable for the area, though you do get stung on the lettuce (I've found this to be a trend at Korean BBQs)

Would of given it 6 stars but unfortunately can only give it 5, the food was fantastic to say the least. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Korean food or has never tried Korean food.

This is such a great little restaurant. Tucked out of the way but definitely worth a visit for an authentic Korean dining experience!

Very unusual eating experience.... really delicious. Barbecuing our food was great fun. Lovely service too.
