Great local chicken place! Service is always friendly. Food is always really tasty! The chicken is crispy and juicy. It is really well seasoned with a good amount of spice in the chicken. Would recommend the spicy Korean sauce. Adds a great flavour! The sides are really great as well, the macaroni and cheese is my favourite! The desserts are really cute and tasty - great to share.

My husband and I went last night and had a really nice time. We had the southern fried chicken, spit roast chicken, chips, butter leaf salad and corn on the cob. My favourites were the southern fried chicken - juicy on the inside, crisp on the outside; and the corn on the cob - fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent. The girl who served us was a manager (I think) and was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back with our kids. Great to have a very local option!

Lovely evening with family enjoying a birthday. Maria our server was helpful and attended to our every need. Everything was ready at our table for us when we arrived. When Maria's shift finished she didn't hesitate to come over and chat to us before she left. The young man who took over our service after Maria left was great too, sorry I didn't get his name, but he was super. Great experience.

Fried chicken is pretty good - generally juicy and crispy. I'd suggest the boneless chicken, either dry or with the Korean BBQ sauce. For the sides, the mac and cheese is also quite good. Keep in mind that the dessert portions are really meant for two people to share, unless of course you are working towards premature diabetes in which case, go for it! Prices are pretty reasonable - a quarter chicken and side will be less than £10.

The southern fried chicken is great, in fact the food in general is pretty good. When it’s hot. Service middling to awful. Went once on a Friday night and they were OK although they didn’t apply the discount for the cocktails you get on signing up to the mailing list and we didn’t notice till afterwards. Second time was for last Saturday lunch and it was appalling. The waitress was sweet but barely spoke English (we had to point at items on the menu to order), the food took a good half hour to come, one starter was cold on arrival, a side didn’t turn up, staff were hanging around the kitchen gabbing instead of working their (three in total) tables, we had to wave them down to order refills. I had to get up to find them three times, firstly to report the cold starter, secondly to chase the missing side and lastly to ask for the cheque. The table next to us also complained - they’d obviously advised of a special diet which had been ignored by the kitchen (or perhaps not understood by the waitress). And the final straw - they don’t serve Bloody Marys. The waitress had to sound it out phonetically with us and then go and ask the manager. They apparently don’t stock tomato juice. I know it’s not a pub but really? Overall, I’d rather make my own fried chicken and Bloody Marys at home than waste another 2.5 frustrating hours of my weekend here.
