Comfortable bed, warm room and a warm welcome from friendly staff. Breakfast included for about twenty pounds. What lovely architecture? A beautiful place to behold! Toilets a slight draw back, but the pipes are probably frozen due to the snow so it's not surprising water is in short supply.

The hostel is a former stately home, whose rooms have been split up into various (sometimes rather oddly laid out) spaces. The staff seemed friendly and helpful, albeit some prompting and questions were needed to get initial information. They were certainly good with our children, helping them with requests for more table tennis bats, pencils and paper. The toilets, though most were on the small side, were clean. The room we stayed in was clean, the beds were silent, and not too firm or soft. The kitchen is oddly located in the basement, and most guests I spoke to agreed with my assessment of feeling discombobulated trying to find my way to it. It's a fairly small space, but had twice as much fridge space as the two previous hostels we'd stayed at, which had larger occupancy space. Overall, it is a pleasant, though a bit dated in some aspects, place to stay.

Private room (1 person) bit of a let down. WiFi intermittent on top floor. Radiator doesn't work. Hot water in rooms not hot. Nowhere within room to hang n dry clothes. Hairs on carpet in the room. Paid decent money too. Plus side was that staff were friendly, nice breakfast and attractive historical building. Location ok. Fairly short walk into town centre

Great price and service. Shared rooms and bunk beds were not a problem at all. Would recommend this place to anyone going to Haworth for a weekend.
