The Fleece Inn

Story

Of all the lovely places to stay in Haworth, West Yorkshire, you will not find a more accommodating or friendly B and B in Haworth in our opinion than the Fleece Inn and Restaurant.

The Fleece Inn Haworth Hotel is situated on the picturesque and historic, beautifully cobbled Main Street in Haworth. Staying at the Fleece inn, the original Inn where Branwell Bronte, brother of the famous Bronte sisters, once drank (and maybe still does!) is a relaxing and inspiring break.

For Bed and Breakfast in Haworth, The Fleece Inn and Restaurant offers time honored Yorkshire hospitality in traditional and comfortable surroundings with easy access to all the best places to stop in Haworth.

Travelled here with a friend for a pre Christmas lunch. We were not disappointed. The sausage and mustard mash with onion gravy was absolutely delicious. My friend had Chicken and bacon sandwich with potato and leek soup. It was the best soup he had ever tasted. I would highly recommend this pub for food. Disabled access is available with a dedicated disabled toilet on the ground floor. This uses the radar key network, but the pub have a key if you require one.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, with a warm and comfortable room on the first floor. The room was furnished to a good standard which led to a good night's sleep. The food in the bar was the best pub food on my tour of the north this autumn, and the range of Timothy Taylor's beers on offer was exceptional. The parking is in a public car park at the Bronte Parsonage Museum, about 200m away and is inexpensive. Mind your head on the low ceiling in upstairs corridor.

Great roast dinners, burgers and homemade chips amongst many other menu options. Booking in advance essential when coming to Howarth for other events (we were a family party of 12). Welcoming and responsive service, always happy to bring out extra gravy when asked for :)

This is the second time we have visited, where the staff have totally ignored us. The manager looked several times and knew we were there but never sent anyone over to serve us. Ridiculous service. Walked out in disgust. It's a shame as we have visited numerous times before and had some really good meals here, but will now never return. There are no excuses for this type of service.

Stayed for two nights as a couple. Had evening meal both nights. Good and serves was very good. Very reasonably priced for food and room. Room was lovely. The pub does get very busy so would book if you want to eat. Would definitely recomend.
