A nice, clean and friendly venue. I little bit tucked away but not too bad. Staff are lovely. Lounge area is light and airy.nnThe rooms were spacious and clean but shower did not empty quickly. I had to keep turning it off and waiting for water to clear.nnThere was full internet signal in our room which was a blessing. Ample parking and safe location. Maybe 10 minutes walk into town.nnBut…please learn to cook veggie sausages properly…they were completely uncooked on the inside.
Location great staff great! Beautiful grounds and view! I have stayed here before! However the room wasn’t clean! The smell of stale body odour was overwhelming! Could definitely do better on the cleaning front! Rooms need a deep clean or new carpets and mattresses! My friends room smelt bad as well so this wasn’t just one bad room! It’s a shame because it is a lovely setting’
The showers in the private rooms are potentially lethal. Scalding water comes out at a terrifying pressure. THIS MUST BE RECTIFIED BEFORE SOMEONE IS HURT!
It is a short walk away from the castle and walled town. Besides that, it is like any other YHA location, albeit the views here and outside space are unique.
A great Base to explore north wales.nDecent wifi, free parking, clean and comfortable accomodation and facilitys including and large enclosed garden.nAwesome views especially from Kitchen, Dining Room and bedrooms.nFriendly staff
