Proper traditional fire Jerk chicken. The smile put on my face with the heat that come from the Jerk chicken was enlightening. You don’t get proper spicy Jerk chicken no more but this place does. Respect Jamie. The curried goat was also beautifully flavoured and had a kick and the beef stew delightful. A hidden gem with no frills but bags of flavour. I can’t wait to return.
The food was lovely, had enough left over to eat the next day, and still tasted great. Was a bit of a drive for us, but it was worth it. Will definitely be going there again. We didn't get the name of the chef/cook or the lady in the shop, big mistake on our part, but they were both friendly. Great selection of Jamaica food and very tasty. Five
Surprisingly great food! Our normal place was closed & we were craving some jerk chicken so found this place. Dont be fooled by its appearance the food is 10/10, some of the best jerk we’ve had full of spice & flavours. The dumpling was amazing too dead fluffy, this will be our new spot from now on! Prices are good value too
I order through just eat in the morning for evening meal: Jerk chicken Plantain * 2 Pattie A drink £17.1 I’ve had a lot of good jerk chicken but this one wasn’t it. The spice on the jerk is hot hot so be prepared. They skimped me on the plantain and only gave one serving which was burnt. The Pattie was forgettable. Everyone’s taste is different so find out for yourself.
wow!!! food was incredible!!! the seasoning and spice level was spot on. The jerk chicken was super tender and fell off the bone and the rice was light and fluffy. Can not recommend enoughFood: 5/5
Hidden gem. Food was delicious and hot! Curry goat was a bit spicy for me but I'm a whimp and it was still gorgeous. Other half enjoyed it too! Empty plates and full bellies all round. Will definitely be going back!
I've been to many Caribbean restaurants all over Manchester and this is the best I've come across yet a real hidden gem the owner is such a cool guy too!
Probably the best Jerk Chicken in Manchester. I've been to most Carribean Restaurants in the city. The chicken is actually marinated. It falls off the bone and the coleslaw is probably the best in manchester too. Super tastey. The guy who runs it is a gentleman. Very down to earth. You will not be dissapointed. Highly recommended. Parking: On street parking. Quiet area.
Went for the first time last night for curry goat it was top, definitely going back. 10 out of 10Food: 5/5
Stopped there for jerk chicken and it was bang on tasty I will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menuFood: 5/5
