Awful! Food wasn't up to standard, beef was still frozen & the rice was like mush. We called to complain & they weren't interested. Only ok items were the spring rolls. Stay away if you want edible food! We'll never go back! Truly disgusting!
I am disgusted with the way that I have been treated by this place.I have ordered there every weekend for the past year and recently the food has gone downhill. I ordered my vegetarian food and an hour and a half later received a meat dish instead of vegetarian rice. I called up and explained the situation and the woman was really rude, She would not give me a time for delivery other than along time which was very unhelpful. I asked for fresh chips and curry sauce and she told me to put it in the microwave!!! I called back 5 minutes later and asked for a refund which was refused. The vile woman started shouting at me would not let me speak and called me a liar. She said she thought that I was a liar and that I had ate the food?! I would never have ate the meat food due to being a vegetarian and the rest was cold and soggy!!! I can't believe the way that I was spoken to, absolutely shocking. I told her I was a loyal customer and she said it did not matter! In the need the woman told me to never order again and hung up! Avoid at all costs terrible food and even worst customer service. I work as a complaints manager and if one of my staff spoke to someone like this they would be fired.
I will never order from this place again. The food is ok but the portions are really small regarding the price and what you get from other takeaways. My main problem with this takeaway is that takes ages to come. Yesterday we ordered our food at 18:30 in order to have an early dinner, our order arrived at 20:45. I called the shop and they didn’t even apologise for this they were keep saying that the driver is on his way. The problem was that we had already pay through just eat so we couldn’t refuse the order once it came so late. It was the second time that happen to us this. With so many nice Chinese takeaways in Manchester it is a pity to waste your time and money on this place.
One of the finest Chinese takeaways I've been fortunate to order from! An expansive menu covering everything from dim-sum to beancurd in a variety of sauces. They're quick to deliver, and if there's a problem, just as quick to inform you of a delay and the quality of the food is apparent from the instant you put a fork into it.
Most stressful ordeal of my life trying to get a takeaway from here, hour and a quarter late. Delivery driver useless and couldn't find the address, staff bla-say about my complaint about the wait and offered no compensation. Food arrived cold and is very mediocre, avoid at all costs.
Have been using Treasure Pot for over 20 years now and they have very rarely let me down. good value for money, and great portion sizes. you could easily feed two with one main and two rice.. unless you're greedy like me. one tip, the Singapore Hot & Sour Soup is really to die for.
The food was fresh and very well prepared. We collected the food and have also had delivery. The staff have always been very friendly. They must be doing something right Treasure pot have been at this location over 20 years.
Food was ok but delivery times are ridiculous. Was told 1 hour which is fine but ended up being over 2 hours. And this happened 2 occasions in a row therefore probably won’t be going back again
Can easily lay claim to being the highest quality take away in this part of manchester, for Chinese or any other type of food for that matter. The staff are pleasant and delivery is prompt. A must for any fan of Chinese food.
Food arrived very late and was cold - refused to remedy with refund or replacement food. Pretended to not be open when I called and avoided discussions completely. Suggest you avoid.
