Nestled in an old Market Town this is what I term as a quintessential English pub. It is warm, friendly and retains its character. The beer is kept well and the home cooked food served is of a high standard. Do not expect Cordon Bleu but you will get good honest food.

Always loved it in this pub, a real classic for hanging out and enjoying a nice drink, plenty of selection plus ales! Recently eaten here to and was very surprised to eat one of the best Bologneses I've had in a long time!

Gorgeous dog friendly pub, real ales along with everything else you could want to drink really. Good pub food and great atmosphere.

Although we were pleased they allowed us to take our placid boarder collie inside, they asked us not to sit on one tiled area and to move to another...? No cutlery supplied with the food. No napkins supplied with the food. No milk supplied with the pot of tea. The food itself was reasonable and would have been good value if the service was better.

A real local friendly pub in a very pretty village. Stay at Bosworth hall, a two minute walk away, and use this pub for your evenings entertainment.. Real ale kept magnificently.
