Good beer, good food, friendly service. I had scampi and chips and the scampi was delicious. There’s a new decking area being built where the carpark used to be but it’s not too out of walking distance from Macclesfield or the surrounding areas and is just off the canal so perfect place to stop if you’re out for a walk. Dogs very welcome.
Regular visitor to this excellent pub. Always a great atmosphere, dog, push bike & walker friendly and has great outdoor space covered and heated. Perfect pit stop if walking along Macclesfield canal between the town and Langley- highly recommended
The Timothy Taylor's Landlord was pleasant. It's quite an old school pub, so not a great range of beers, but those they sold seemed well looked after. The food was okay - filling and pleasant enough.
Great pub. Lovely staff. Friendly locals. Looks like good food and the beer is well served and tastes as it should. All you could want.
Been a couple of times now for lunch and dinner and always top notch food, ales and service. Lovely pub inside and out, once you've found somewhere to park. Dog friendly too.
Nice old pub. Some nice beer. Great location for canal walks. Sandwiches were a bit disappointing today though. Butter on the bread would have helped. All ok but we weren't blown away.
Fabulous food Fabulous staff and are really great menu. Lots of flavours in food served the chef is incredibly. We love it here and really great price's as well.
