Five of us had lunch on New Year's Day. We had booked a table, very pleased we had, since the place was heaving, full of large groups of walkers. The food was excellent, well done to the staff on such a busy lunchtime.
Ale was great, fish and the burger were really tasty, shame the chips appeared to be double or more fried which resulted in them being very greasy, they held the cooking oil and when you placed the fork or knife in the chip the oil would ooze out. Very well presented and we would revisit.

Stumbled across this pub today. Great staff. Great service. Very comfortable. Thank you for making us so welcome. Will be back after Lockdown
A lovely pub with a great play area for children. The Staff are fantastic and service exceptional. You can’t beat the quality of the food. Great pub would highly recommend a visit.
