Very helpful barmaid, made very welcome with my puppy, to use toilet, dog friendly inside and outside. Water was provided for my dog.
Great beer garden and the option to sit in the canal , serves food and a good local pub.

Food wasn't great turkey dinner was nowhere near worth £10 - the best bit was the gravy. Service wasn't up to scratch took an hour between order and receiving our food. The staff were not very attentive and took an age to take drinks orders as well. Not impressed.
Friendly staff. Disorganised. Poor lunch choice and food. Very reluctant to give poor reviews, but in my opinion need to up their game considerably.
Lovely staff, the food is spot on. Great affordable deals on the food too. My kids love ot here, watching the movies, enjoying watching the boats and ducks. Definitely my go to place in Macclesfield
Went in, I waited 40 minutes for my meal. Then the atrocious staff sent me away. I wont be returning. Don't recommend this pub - maybe go to The Finger Post as I was treated better there.
great meal today thankyou. Nice welcome, clean toilets. The only thing I find barking mad, is serving on wooden trays in the COVID era. We know these wooden trays allow bacteria to hide in cracks - very strange option in August 202. But all else fab.
Lovely pub, great food, great beer gardens and super staff!
Service from the bar staff was lovely and can't fault them but the food was disappointing for the price which is a shame as we've heard really good reviews - maybe just an off day ‍
