We visited the Passage House Inn whilst we were staying at the holiday apartments a few weeks ago. Large car park with tables outside by the river. Friendly staff and delicious well presented food. The home made pie was really meaty and the fish and chips were excellent. Also had the Thursday carvery, which again was tasty. Recommend the halloumi fries, best I've had.
Lovely scenic area with a lovely restaurant below. Service is great, views are stunning and the restaurant is absolutely brilliant. Staff couldn't be better and meals are brilliant. Second visit still not disappointed. Made a trip to the pool and they even have a massage option. Only comment would be the lights in the room were particularly slow to turn on and in excess of 10 seconds at some points.
The Passage House Inn is on the banks of the River Teign down a small road off Greenhilk Way, Kingsteignton. There is plenty of level parking and level entry. Inside there are a couple of wide steps between the bar area and the restaurant. They serve Carveries between 12noon and 20.00 and other food. Excellent waiting staff, food and drink. Outside view plus one of the river from our dining table through the window.
Beautiful location, traditional cosy pub vibes, very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent pub grub, does what it says on the tin, great outdoor seating area for the summer months, warm fireplace indoors, nice large conservatory with plenty of space, perfect for large group bookings — Thankyou
Everything is beautiful here! Already at the entrance you will feel like a welcome guest - you will be met and taken to a table with an incredible view of the city, delicious and beautifully served food will be served and everything will be done to make you want to come back here more than once. The atmosphere is wonderful, very cozy and not pretentious. I'm really looking forward to spring coming so I can enjoy the view again.
What a lovely evening. Food lovely, and menu covers most aspects of choice options of fish, meat, chicken, vegi etc, great pace about the service not rushed but never forgotten location superb, all round a super evening out. Trouble with giving good reviews is that others will now make it busy!!!!
Enjoyed a family lunch yesterday. It's always easy to park here and good access to the dining area. The staff were very pleasant and the food was well presented and very good. The steam mussel Linguine was excellent.
Just wanted to say that the young lad working in the restaurant, maybe called Josh, had excellent customer service skills and was soo helpful yesterday when I asked lots of questions re food intolerances! Sure, can you send me the link for this? It's not very often in hospitality these days that you come across a young person who has such a good customer service manner. We had a lovely meal out. Pass on my compliments please. Thanks. P.S the carvery is top notch!! Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating
Excellent food excellent service. A whole gluten free menu is available, rather than 1 or 2 options. Our waitress was really helpful and friendly. This is now my go-to restaurant.
Kate did an excellent job. She was very welcoming and very paitent with us in what was recongisbly a busy day for her; yet remained professional throughout. As a bonus, the food is very good with a large selection to choose from to suit all tastes.
