Yates is great if you just want a quick bite to eat and a drink in casual surroundings. The food is pub grub. There's plenty of variety and offers with drinks included. It's a big pub with plenty of tables downstairs and more upstairs. It's not fine dining, but they do a good cooked breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, pub meals and snacks. The staff are friendly and efficient and the toilets, which are upstairs, were reasonably clean, if a bit basic (metal toilet pans).

Food& alcholic drinks was lovely& staff was friendly. When we arrived there wasn't a single table clean. Only after our food was served did we get someone who would clean the table! The place was a little family overly friendly for a pub... Allowed parents to let there children play on the machine's and run wild standing on seat's, While customer's was trying to eat. Personally, i feel they should have a family dedicated area so it doesn't ruin others experiences.

Amazing breakfast for affordable prices. Lovely amount of food for the price with great songs and a lovely atmosphere. (I paid extra for extra hash browns but it was worth it)

Our first visit was just to grab a bite to eat before heading home. We were not disappointed. Pleasant helpful staff, good, tasty food and a reasonable choice of drinks. As with many pubs, the menus and tables were a little sticky. A nice place to wait for a bus home.

I love this place it's bright the foods good and the building layout is brilliant would come here for both pub grub and a good night out
