The Lomax is the embodiment of rock and roll itself with a great bar, an especially nice main-stage and a smaller open microphone stage in the bar area for karaoke or musicians to play, there's also a nice selection of instruments available for anybody to get up and use. If you're a musician and you enjoy the company of open-minded individuals then this is the place to be. This is Liverpool's best kept secret with such an amazing atmosphere, the Lomax is at the heart of the underground music scene in Liverpool, glancing at their large wall calendar said it all, they've got bands playing there all the time.  The bar staff are warm and welcoming, and they've got a fantastic sense of humour on top of being very chatty. The bar is well-stocked with the cheapest name-brand beers and spirits you'll find in Liverpool. I'll definitely be a regular!
