I tried their chicken Karahi which I have tried multiple times before, but there seems to be a change in chef or something as it tasted a little different although it was still good. I have also tried their tawa which was £20 for 2 but has now gone up to £25 which is fair based on inflation. However, the grill items are a hit and miss, because if they bring the kebab, lamb chops etc fresh, it tastes amazing but that has happened with on a very few occasions. Normally I would get the precooked ones which don't taste as good as the fresh ones.....
Went in Saturday for a tawa for 2 amazing my friend couldn’t believe how much u get friendly staff, food delicious , been a few times before for lamb karahi on bone Apana style lovely food highly recommend Food: 5/5

Excellent Pakistani style curry and starters. I had a delicious lamb saag home style. Good service. Note.. recent change in ownership and this seemed much better. Will return soon.
I would like to thanks the lovely gentlemen monim who served us delicious dine in food. The food was outstanding so was the service. Especially the desi karak chai which added a splendious taste after the desi tawa. Also there is a separate private family room were you can have a beautiful family meal. Apna Lahore is a nice place to visit for Desi food. We ordered Tawa for 3 people for £30. But it was enough for 5 people. Huge portion. Every thing was cooked perfectly. Staff was very polite. They allowed us pray downstairs. Would recommend highly.
Best Tawa Ive Had Up North, Very Delicious With Quality of Meet. Real Friendly Atmosphere. Great happy/Jolly Staff who love what they do, Which makes it outstanding experience to be experienced. Food Talks for its self. must Try.
SHOCKING! Had to report to just eat. Ordered many times but last week they cancelled but still delivered?? Read on. 40 minutes after THEY CANCELLED the order turned up?! We were shocked and apologetically sent the food back because we obviously had to find an alternative take out. So a few days later we order again and 40 minutes after the order was accepted - they cancelled again. My husband said call then because they might just send the food anyway like last time. I called and the man was pushy and said they're changing Thier system and they can do bank transfer. I gave my number but, they didn't text me their details now more time wasted....so I called them back and said we'll just pay cash. The guy said NO were not delivering to you because we cooked food and you sent it back last time. I said sorry, we've ordered from you many times given great reviews, good customers and you cancelled the order and that's our fault? So basically they cancel your orders and assume,.your going to wait around for an order that's been cancelled and pay cash. Ha ha ha ....he then said we called you and I said you might have done but you didn't speak to me so why on earth would you send food out without speaking to the customer when you, have cancelled on them? The driver who we sent the food back with was all chilled about it but clearly, something's kicked off when he's returned with the food. The man said ok, I'll tell you what I'll do, I'll call our owner. I was like really, you think we are that desperate for your food when their are hundreds and all the time already wasted?!? So unfortunately, we've been blamed because they clearly can't accept that this was their mistake. Shocking and the amount of money we've spent previously and time wasted shocking. People need to be aware of what your dealing with if something goes wrong with your order.....it will be YOUR FAULT!
They are looters. I’m a student and every penny matters to me. They still looted me. I ordered food for 13 pounds and they sent me a link for transaction. There was some problem and I made transaction thrice which they confirmed and said we will return your money. And now they say we received only one payment. I showed them screenshot of transaction but nooo. They did same with my friend. Cancelled her order and never returned her money. She’ll also put her review. Don’t trust these looters. Even the chicken broast was pathetic and raw inside. I’m sooo much disappointed. I hope they’ll face karma.
Foods hit and miss quite literally, didn't get my lamb chops or biriany sauce, no salad or sauces with the charga chicken. When called up the tool that answered the phone was rude and very annoyingly arrogant. I'm surprised how he is at the front of house. Refused to complete my order. Avoid this place until they get a new waiter or wateva that was. Will not be ordering again. Edited 18.522 it seems like there's been a change in the ownership or something. The review was related to Apna Lahore and not Yaadgar, I've yet to decide if to check them out.
