Sara did a spectacular job creating a whole host of delicious treats for our wedding dessert table, including a 3 tier wedding cake, croquembouche tower and macarons as well as a number of cakes. Sara really embraced the brief and went as far as colour matching the macarons to our colour scheme! Everything tasted amazing and the fact there were no leftovers is testament to how much everyone enjoyed everything. Thanks Sara! Alice and Anthony
We want to thank Sara for creating the best wedding cake we could have dreamed of! She is very friendly and accommodating and above all makes amazingly looking and tasting wedding cakes! We had three separate flavours Hazelnut and Nutella, Orange and Pistachio and Carrot and walnut cake and all three of them were loved and instantly finished by our wedding guests! We are so happy we chose Sara, cannot recommended her enough! Silvi and Billy.
Sara made a great cake for my Dad's 60th birthday a couple of yours ago and so was a natural choice for our wedding cake. She was helpful and flexible working with us over the pandemic and helping us to overcome a few logistical issues. The cakes she made not only looked beautiful but tasted amazing. Everyone mentioned how nice they were. We couldn't have been more pleased with them and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Bake Lab to anyone looking for celebration cakes.
Sara is unbelievably talented and friendly, we are so happy we chose her to create our gorgeous wedding cake, brownies + blondies. The cake looked and tasted divine, our guests we're soooo complimentary on everything. We had one slice of cake left in the morning - that's how delicious everything was! Sara provided our dessert table for our wedding. She was great at talking us through our options but didn’t try to add lots of extras on or do a big sell, which was a big turn off for me for anything wedding related. Everything she made was lovely, with no exceptions and everything being polished off by our guests - the problem was keeping them away from it before it was time for dessert! Sara was also great at making sure everyone’s requirements and allergies were safely met as there were guests with severe nut allergies, gluten intolerances and vegan diets. She set everything up before we arrived and it looked perfect. We also got some of her Christmas biscuit boxes which was a good excuse to resample her great baking. Would definitely recommend.
The wedding cake and side cakes were absolutely fantastic. I couldn't fault a thing. Thank you
