Been getting an occasional xindu every now and then for well over 5 years now. Always get the chicken fried rice, curry sauce and chips. Absolutely brill! Getting another one today, I would recommend the fried rice dishes as the portion sizes are very large and tasty. Thanks xindu! Also of note, they have certainly changed and I would hope they’d put more information about their dishes on the website in regard to the ingredients and such.
First time using these, will NEVER use them again. The attitude when we rang to explain they missed off some of our order was disgusting, and they wouldn't even rectify it on their part and they hung up the phone. Don’t trust the website information either as apparently when it says a dish comes with something it turns out it actually doesn’t, leaving you with an incomplete meal! Food was average at best. Avoid and go somewhere with better CUSTOMER SERVICE and food !!
Use to be lush food and good service. Apart today 20/10 lady on the phone Twice loosing her temper shouting on us on the phone.. disgusting. First u run the business customer first remember lady!!! Customer always right even is not if u want to keep business!!! Third with this attitude u won’t keep ur regulars!!! Sad to say goodbye coz the guy which was always were was lovely and helpful.
Worst Chinese! Needs zero stars. I have just wasted £30. Poor portions, ordered 2 meals and not one vegetable in either of them. Might possibly have been just a jarred sauce poured over some chicken pieces. Disgusted, been using this place for years, definitely won't be back.

The food is usually very nice but we have had several orders which were VERY late. Ordered at 6.45, came after 9.00 kind of late. This review is for tonight and we still don’t have it and it’s 9pm now probably not use this takeaway again because of this, and we’re only 5 mins away in a car. If you order online be prepared to be eating much later than you expect. They also take the phone off the hook which stops you ringing to ask when your delivery will be arriving. If the service was on justeat or Uber eats etc they’d be kicked off. Beware. Update to the above. Food arrived at 9.15. Shop rang me following morning and apologised for the service which they say was due to being inundated and some surrounding Chinese takeaways being shut last night. They have offered me an extra meal for free on my next order which I thought was very good of them. When the food did come last night it was hot and delicious. Really good to see a takeaway take this approach and obviously value your custom very highly. P Another update. Ordered again at a quieter time on a Sunday evening. Used the online service. Food was here within 20 mins and also had the free snack box. It was all delicious. Excellent customer service.
Been getting food from this takeaway for couple of weeks now and it has to be one of the best Chinese in town. Food is always top notch whether it’s collection or delivery with fair price
I ordered vegetarian duck in green pepper and black bean sauce it was late cold and what I got was greasy soggy real duck skin no meat vegetarian or otherwise absolutely vile and greasy. I'm so disappointed I had heard good things and they have a good vegetarian range never again whole lot in the bin
Absolutely delicious, and I think very reasonable for a chinese takeaway. And much quicker than the other timescales for nearby chinese takeaways. We had just tried the other highly rated chinese restaurant for a takeaway but earliest pick up was 1hr30 and delivery 2hrs+ but Xin Du was 15-20mins - delighted to try our now new favourite chinese takaway - king prawn chilli salt is AMAZING
The best Chinese I have found around here.I find it best to order by phone there doesn’t seem to be a minimum order as opposed to their websiteService: 5/5
