In my opinion this should not be called a restaurant, rather a take away place. Food quality was very poor, everything salty or burned too much. I have ordered duck in plum sauce but the plum sauce was so fake I could not eat the actual dish..Cost, was not too low neither. Very disappointing especially that so many people used to recommend that place. I, personally don't recommend if you really love Chinese food and know how it should taste.

While visiting London with family, this place was recommended to us. The best deal in London for Chinese cuisine. This is where Chinese restaurant workers eat on their day off.

Used to love this place but 3 times in last 2 weeks been told over a hour half for delivery wen it’s 0.5 miles from house but I don’t drive and son in bed I understand places get busy but same answer all the time if they are always that busy surely could get another driver as must be loaded when people have to wait that long and to make it better my partner always wants from there son now no dinner as doesn’t want from anywhere else so thanks Xanadu 👍

This used to be my favourite Chinese in Edinburgh for 3 years. Would drive in to take away just to get it from here. I believe they changed chef or recipes. Partner and I both got noodle dishes, one beef and one prawn, and they were the worst I've had in my life! Couldn't taste anything but SALT! I add salt on everything but this was just inedible. Had to ask for water just so I don't throw up. Had no more than 2 spoonful's. Definitely not going back.

What a wonderful food experience. Authenticity, quality and humility, at a fair price. One of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten.
