Just had my first (and only) delivery from Curry Cafe. Ordered a lamb korma dish and there were literally 8 small pieces of meat swimming in a quite watery sauce. Partners kebab salad is a teeny bag with shredded lettuce in it. Pakora came out to equal £1 for a small piece of chicken each. It’s seems like a lot of £££ for very little, I figured we’d never ordered from Curry Cafe, we won’t be doing it again. I try to be quite fair if I’m leaving a review, but this is ridiculous.

Curry cafe used to be amazing, their food, service including delivery was great. However of late all this has drastically deteriorated. Last week our delivery came in after hours, and to our shock the guy who delivered the pizza was holding it upright instead of flat. The curries had leaked through and the pizza was a mess. Especially disappointing when you had to wait for 2 hrs for this. The delivery guy 'Adi' said I can't do anything about this and had a very bad attitude. When we didn't tip him he went downstairs and rang our buzzer a number of times just to annoy us. Never again!!! This is exactly how you lose a loyal customer. Plz don't order from here, there are loads of places just on Leith Walk that are way better!

We regularly order from curry cafe as their food tastes authentic and service is very good too. We usually order their curries but yesterday we ordered a pizza and even that was amazing. Pizza was loaded and the cheese was still meltingly delicious 😜. this was a five star review Update to this review - I have been ordering from this restaurant for quite sometime. but off late the service and the food has been abysmal. I am adding to this because my most recent order (because I like to give restaurants a chance) was just horrendous. I ordered a pizza and some biryani and lamb curry. The order took more than two hours to be delivered and after calling the restaurant they said in five mins it still took half an hour. The delivery guy was rude obnoxious and just had the worst attitude ever. The food was plain and simple bad, and the delivery guy made it even worse by tossing the pizza and curry all over that the cheese was all stuck and the pizza crushed. Also the curry was all over the place. I still paid the guy full price. I have the number of the manager and when I called him he did not even reply but cut my call numerous times. This is absolutely disgraceful to treat your customers in this manner. Why do restaurant behave in such a manner after gaining customer loyalty. The food becomes overpriced, and bad tasting. Customer service totally dies and then they mourn as to why we are doing bad business. if you are good to your customers with your food and service they will stay else there are many other places to spend our money. Dont go to this restaurant any more and I will make sure I also put it in other social media sites. Restaurants must be shown that they cant treat their customers badly
