This is a good local theatre with a varied programme of shows and events. I like the fact that it's small enough so you are never too far from the stage. If you go to a West End theatre you can be so far away from the action that you can hardly see what's going on. Also, when you come home you face a long journey on trains full of drunks. You can drive to the Wyllyotts and park in the Underground car park free after 6.30pm. So if you live in the Hetsmere area this theatre is worth a look.

Lovely community theatre, cinema. Parking available. Helpful staff. Showing good films and some plays. Affordable prices.

Both my boys attend Saint John's Prep and Senior School. They have many functions there. It's a good little theatre with good sound and visibility.

Lovely little theatre. Unfortunately during intervals the immediate outdoor area is taken up by smokers leaving non smokers no where to stand if wanting some fresh air. Please someone address this. Beer and alcoholic drinks can be purchased at the bar and are accepted into the theatre which inturn gives cause to heckling and general drunkenness which does not add to the ambiance. On the up side, I would praise this theatre for entertaining many top comedians and bands that we have seen and at half if not a third of West end prices. All in all a definite recommendation.

Very disappointed that this theatre has used my credit card and taken an extra unauthorised. Taken me 2 months to realise this. Was promised a call from the Manager. Nothing. I had no authorisation code for my payment for the tickets, no receipt and no tickets. Strange??? The Murder, Mystery Play was quite amusing but the dinner was chaotic and everyone at our table ended up eating separately. By the time most of my group got theirs the play was almost finished. Not at all enjoyable. The attitude of the staff was "take it or leave it". Even when in the wrong (some could say criminally wrong), this attitude is obvious. The "spoilt" Home Counties, I'm afraid!
