Wylde Green Sub Post Office

PLEASE do not go to this Post Office AWFUL service.. the larger dark short haired thing!!! that works in the post office needs sacking ,she obviously likes to lord it over people, disgraceful customer service from her, and going by the other reviews Im clearly not the only one that thinks it either.. they don,t deserve the 1 star but had to put it

Just been to this Post Office to collect some passport forms. The lady that handed them to me did not utter one word even though i said please and thank you, she did not raise a smile she was extremely ignorant... change you job dear you are clearly not cut out for working with human beings!!

I visit this post office at least twice a week. This is for business and personal items. I can't begin to say how pleased and grateful I am for the service from this post office over the last year! With all the difficulties that we're all going through, I saw the same ladies coming into work and performing this Post Office service for their customers every single time I visited. There were some days that Individual workers were on their own. The workload seems very busy and they "get on with it" always a smile and some conversation when it is your time to be served. I've always found them very quick and efficient and also patient. I've witnessed quite a number of difficult customers over this year and I've been extremely impressed with how situations have been handled. I've also been in on a number of occasions with quite a large number of parcels. There were no complaints and I was put at ease when I worried that I might be holding up other customers. My posing has always been performed quickly and efficiently. I would like to say a thank you to Susan, Barbara and Jo. These are the ladies that I see in the post office every time I visit. These are the ladies that ensure I always come back to Wylde Green for the majority of my post because i know i will get good service. These are also the ladies that have worked tirelessly through the pandemic providing the service that we still need. I felt I should write this review because after using this post office for a number of years and seeing how they have continued to work through the pandemic, I felt they deserved some praise. People are so quick to complain and i feel sometimes people don't give credit when its deserved. I for one am extremely grateful for the efficient and friendly service they provide.

Proficient enough but counter staff, consistently ie over time, quiet or busy, really DO seem to resent having to serve customers.

Unhelpful and unfriendly staff. Went there to send something which I also required a envelope for. Got one off shelf next to PO desk was then told by a rude lady to pay at other till and come back. She spoke as if I should of know that already. Then I had to explain that the Republic Of Ireland is not part of the UK.

Argumentative and petty. Everything is an issue for them, go to another post office as this one should close if they can't perform basic actions required for good customer service.

2 extremely rude staff, the manager of the post office and one of the female staff literally shouted at me and told me never to come back purely because I asked if the Post office does foreign currency exchange, they shouted no, then when I gave them a look of shock and said that on the website it says that they do, they shouted never come back, I've lived on the street right next to Soar for almost 40 years and have used Spar and the post office 1000's of times and easily spent at least£10000 over a 40 year period and have always got on wonderfully with their staff, but this was just inexcusable, I'm guessing it's because of the way I look, I think they have judged me purely because of how bad I look at the moment, but little do they know it's because I've been in and out of hospital numerous times over the last year suffering with a very bad illness that has almost killed me a few times, I wouldn't think this but I could tell straight away before I even spoke that I was going to have an issue, such a shame because it's always been my favourite place to shop, not any more though, not until they leave anyway, I've had a few people tell me the exact same thing about the exact same 2 people aswel. I'll just use the Post office down the road where they don't lie to there customers!!!

Service is ridiculously slow borderline terrible and very understaffed no matter what time of day you post. It shouldn't take 30-45minutes for me to send one parcel at a post office 2 minutes away. Probably not the staffs fault but surely management can see people are waiting far too long to be served!

Wow, the older lady what a miserable person. I paid money in and no morning thank you goodbye. Manners don't cost a thing, but maybe I this place they do. First and last time I'll use this place.

Used to be fabulous here but some of the newer people are miserable and rude, not all, but some! You wonder why they choose to work in a job with face to face contact with people when they obviously don't like people and have no patience.
