Worthing Town Centre Initiative
"The Worthing Town Centre Initiative are a not for profit company whose focus is improving Worthing Town Centre. We want people to want to visit and the businesses trading in the town to thrive. We improve the public realm by providing floral displays and ensuring street furniture is maintained. We organise events such as the Worthing Food & Drink Festival and Urban Beach and we fund and arrange the Christmas lights. Recently we painted the seafront bus shelters vibrant colours and provided bunting and bin wraps to brighten up the town !!"

A lively and bustling town centre with a huge variety of stores, pubs and restaurants catering for all price brackets. Most of it is pedestrianised and the main street is wide. Quite a few rough sleepers and beggars around who I always feel so sorry for.
Many empty shops. Parking is expensive, the roads are in an absolutely dreadful condition, there's only one public toilet in the guildbourne centre and that is absolutely disgusting. There was once a shelter in Montague Street but that was removed , and some type of well I really don't know what you would call it it's just an Abominable structure that cost thousands of pounds and as far as anybody can see it was money badly spent, but the council never seem to learn.
Excellent support to promoting our thriving business community in Worthing. The Town Crier is a massive asset to the town too. Well done to our Town Centre Manager and all the team.
It's a lovely place for a stroll and relax, not so much if you want busy and bustling. With Brighton just down the road, it's tough competition, especially when Brighton has sandy beaches and Worthing has pebble.
It would be wise not to come to Worthing town centre by bicycle as the pot holes in the cycle lanes are HORRENDOUS. And parking very expensive. Some very good cafes in Warwick Street.
The Pier is relaxing, beach mostly gravel sand only appeared when tide was out and then it was muddy. Town is clean and as most shops. Sea front mostly amusements and ice-cream.
A great organisation making a positive difference to our town.
This organisation do a fantastic job at making Worthing a better place. A better place for business and a better place for you and I. Worthing TCI are also responsible for Worthing Birdman, which brings thousands of people into the town every year, and gains global PR. The Birdman event won 'Tourism Award, in the 2013 Adur and Worthing Business Awards.
Very nice seaside town
Curry goat and rice & peas tasted like my mother would make it. Lovely.
