Worthing needs another bus company. This one is too unreliable. How do they manage to keep their contracts with such lousy service? Hmmmm. I wonder. Hmmm.
I see comments below saying all the stuff are very friendly but some of the bus drivers can be very rude depending on how they're feeling on the day. Some are very nice however. In my opinion changing it so there's two zones one from Worthing to Shoreham and another onwards to Brighton. Was one of the biggest money grabs they could of done and it wasn't even sly I remember when Brighton and hove did this with some places past Brighton. We want affordable travel not more expensive. Why can't I get a day rider for Worthing and Brighton?
No 7 along Grinstead Lane Lancing just didn't stop for my son. A regular thing, card machines never work... Shocking service
Are the buses 700 running this morning towards Littlehampton as I've been waiting for 40 mins and unable to get through on telephone and app is down. I'm now late and may miss an event that I've been really looking forward to? Please reply ASAP. Cheers Stagecoach, NOT! 90 mins to travel from Goring to Littlehampton including almost an hours wait for the bus, I have now missed an event in Arundel that I had waited months for. Only to be told by the driver that there were no drivers and two drivers with a bus each came together, so there were at least 2 drivers per hour so why make us wait an hour for 1 driver?
I wonder if the stupid greens have ever traveled by bus ? Stagecoach Worthing seems to make the timetable up as they go along And some but not all drivers think they are doing you a favour when picking you up Much easier to drive ya car and more reliable than bus!
An initial good impression of the return bus service from Worthing to Brighton - the return bus driver actually waiting for the older members of the party to board - was ruined by the bus driver telling our 11 year olds off for walking up to see us further down the bus. I would not mind but the bus had been stationary with the engine off for 5 minutes and when the bus was in motion the kids had sat down quietly for the whole journey. I have to say that the bus driver was extremely rude. Very poor cutomer service.
Some bus drivers are so rude and would actually appreciate it if they could be spoken to or suspended until they have learnt that what they say or do was rude! Some drivers talk to elderly people rudely and I genuinely feel really sorry for the elderly they are not in the wrong at all- the way I feel about it is if your company wants customers then be nice make them feel welcome rather then rushed and unwelcome aboard!! I'm also not happy with the wait for a response back in email! I have lost my bus ticket that cost £120 and I am not impressed at all... i would prefer and instant reply.
Just a shame the buses are all over the place due to lack of drivers. Not all their fault as also road works everywhere!
I was waiting as normal up chapel road for the number 1 bus to storrington at 6.30am on Wednesday 17th June 2020 to go to work. I was standing at the edge of the kirb with my arm out and the driver wasn't slowing down so I started waving my arm to try to stop him but he never stopped, he just drove on. So thanks to the driver I then had to pay £20.70 for a taxi to get to work when I already had a weekly bus pass for £23.70
Absolutely shocking - avoid at all costs! Was sold a used "smart card" by a bus driver the only way you can buy them which had expired unknown to us. Three times we was told the card had been fixed and would work and it didn't meaning we had no choice but to pay the full daily fare a after having already purchased a monthly ticket. After many many phone calls they finally agreed to replace the card and was told it would take 3-5 days to arrive, I called on the 5th day to say it had not arrived and was told it had only been issued that morning and would be a further 3 days to arrive. I also requested a call back from a manager and this did not happen. We are now out of pocket roughly £80 in daily fares after having already spent £84.50 on the monthly pass. We have now been told none of the daily tickets would be refunded despite this being entirely their fault from beginning to end! This company is an absolute nightmare and should be avoided at all costs!!!
