Thank you so much for offering to rehome  Misty who was my Mother's cat who died in December 2021 and therefore we had to sell her home. The lady who came to see me Jackie picked her up and was most helpful and I sure you will find Misty who is ģetting on a bit a home. Many thanks Welfare for cats

Very disappointed, had a home visit that went well, Pam was very friendly and easy to talk to. Had a phone call 2 days later saying that because I wanted a indoor cat none of the cats available are indoor and that all the cats they have are outdoor cats, My sister has 4 cats all rescue strays that used to live outdoor and now all are indoor cats,  cats adapt to being indoor . I myself  previously had strays that became indoor cats with no problems. I've had cats for over 40 years And on the website alot of the cats say only cat which I think is odd because cats love cat company, I wanted a another cat because my older cat died last year so my other cat is missing the play and interaction .I'm not only disappointed for myself but for my cat who would of benefitted from having another cat.

Do not recommend if you have any colour to you or strongly suggest Jackie doesn’t do the home visit.  EDIT / RESPONSE:  My review was regarding the lies that were used against my application. It would have been nice to have a cat rehomed with me, but that’s not why I left a review. Please see my email I sent a couple months ago detailing the below - I didn’t get a response.  I was rejected on my application for 3 reasons:  1.  The first reason, which I agreed to, was because I hadn’t moved all my furniture into the property I just bought. Jackie mentioned during the home visit to have all my things in the property and then to get back in touch. I agreed as I don’t want them to get lost in the boxes. A week later, I had moved in and emailed to let them know that in a month I had surgery and was recovering I’d be ready for the cats, leading to new information not shared on the home visit for why I was rejected:  2. I was told I didn’t have heating. This isn’t something discussed during the home visit and is simply untrue. The heating has always been working. Moreover with cats in the house I’d make sure it’s warm for them. Pushing for the truth, I was given a third reason:  3. “My house is on a busy road”. If this was true, I wouldn’t adopt any animal just for my own wants. My road is in a residential cul-de-sac with cats regularly roaming the street. The streetlights go off at 11PM each night because it’s so quiet.  I asked for a genuine reason I wasn’t suitable to rehome and the reasons are disingenuous. Only when I pushed for a reason why from Jackie on the phone, did I get the other 2 reasons. Considering I am 28, I work from home, a homeowner with 2 bedrooms one for the cats!, a front and back garden, a car and lifelong experience with cats, it just doesn’t make sense to me.  Jackie spent 5 mins with me in my home, came in just enough to close the front door behind her. She didn’t have a look around the house at all in that time.  For these reasons I believe I was unfairly treated and can’t think of what else it would be apart from colour.  If there is now a 4th reason I implore you to let me know.

Huge Thankyou to Mike and all at WCWT for pairing me up with beautiful 13 year old Freya, who sadly had to be rehomed after her mum Elaine had to go into a Nursing home. She has settled in so well with me, and is thriving.. I absolutely adore her, it is a match made in heaven! Thankyou!

Thank you to everyone at WCWT who helped us find the perfect cat for our family. Emma was so helpful and we couldn't be happier with lovely Bella! Settled in within a couple of hours of getting her home and it's like she's always been living with us. The charity are always at the end of a phone call as well in the early days should we need it.

I submitted my form with a view to adopt. A lovely lady got in touch with us the next day to arrange a home check. This was done without it feeling intrusive and she went out of her way to explain the procedures and gave us telephone numbers of local rescue centres so we had the best chance of sourcing just the right cat for us. I would definitely recommend Worthing Cat Welfare and Emma for her enthusiasm.

I really couldn't recommend wcwt highly enough. Really responsive to calls and emails, they clearly all really care about all the cats in their care. Emma was brilliant: patient, kind and so supportive in helping us find the perfect cat to join our family, and I'm so so pleased that she helped us find Milo. We love him to bits  I really cannot thank Emma enough and her colleague, Alison, also   thank you both x

Emma visited us last week and was so informative about the services they offer and how the adoption process works, it was such a pleasure to meet with her.  We are now waiting for the right kitten or young cat, fingers crossed. Thank you!

I have recently adopted 2 new companions Sammie x Sophie from WCWT. The support, advice, care x kindness has been invaluable from Sandra and Jackie, my thanks and gratitude to you both. Also, for the wonderful work and compassion you show in your care of the cats in need of shelter x finding new homes. Best wishes in your future work with our feline friends!

Dropped off some items for the charity to use for tombola, Sandra & her husband were very friendly, I would donate more if I had any more items as it's a very worthwhile charity.
