I wanted to buy a lot of stuff for my new fish tank and I had my basket filled. I was in the shop with my 6 year old boy and he was very excited to get his fish for his fish tank. When we was about to buy fish I was asked a lot of questions about the fish tank and my set up by the girl that was supposed to serve us. She refused to sell us any fish as she said that my tank doesn't yet have a blue medicine in it. She made me feel like I want to buy the fish and hurt them and was quite rude. I had tropical fish most of my life and I know how to take care of them. I need to change water in the tank from time to time, and adding new water and aqua safe after I have done it never hurt any fish. I have asked her again if she would sell us any fish, and she said no. On that note I have left my shopping basket with the things that I wanted to buy and left the shop without purchasing anything. I went to another shop and got everything I needed, including fish, and they are all alive and healthy.The shop is really nice, and the rest of the staff was really helpful and the prices are good, but this was my experience with an individual staff member that made me not wanting to come back to the shop.

We have a cat Lucky & somehow he managed to get a tick, nasty little thing on his face. Not a good idea to just pull it off bad things can easily be left behind, Pets at Home  Worthing have a 'Vets 4 Pets' on the first floor. The vet that saw our Lucky was really good & managed to remove the tick in one piece & still alive using some sort of tool. No fuss no trouble & thankfully no dramas from Lucky either.  I left with a dose of anti-tick & flea gel & a de-worming tablet that should last three months. Can't say the visit was cheap but it was considerably less than I thought it would be & it will definitely be my first choice if I need anything for our cat again.nnIt must be knocking on to a year since our cat Lucky had that Tick removed by Vets4Pets & he's been Tick, Flea & Worm free ever since. Though to be fair he's never had Worm's but is that because he gets the de-worming tablet every three months?nnWe are thinking of taking advantage of enrollment into one of the Vets4Pets schemes to get some of their savings.

Never had a good positive shopping experience in this shop. Staff not helpful and ended up walking out as I couldn’t get anyone to help me find a product I was looking for. Customer service need improvement big time!!!!

A very good selection of products for many pets; dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea-pigs, fish and more. They also have a dog grooming service.  Good access and parking. The prices seem reasonable too.

Bought a couple of coconut caves plus other bits for my tropical fish, Very friendly service and good value for money. I visit this store regularly and it's always clean and tidy. Well done
