Used to be a brilliant park, well kept... Not the case now, run down, littered, overgrown bushes, tree damage. Playing field wrecked by over use of football teams in nad weather. Grass verges on Oakdale unaccessible at w.ends due to ignorant parents parking on grass and pavement. Overall needs investment!
Great place for a break to take time out and relax, bring the kids.
Lovely and peaceful park just outside of Barnsley. A perfect combination of peacfulness and harmony when sat at a bench. Would definitely recommend if going with a friend or family
It was clean, secure, my granddaughter enjoyed going on the swings and slide.
Lovely, clean, only a few people in the park, just sat on a bench taking in the sun's rays;great for my Raynauds.
Needs abit more work done it yeah its nice but it seems like they could improve it

Good coverage of trees around the park in case the Mrs needs a wild wee
Great country park with some beautiful walks and scenery. Especially around the reservoir. Don't forget to visit the Mill cafe !
Love it but footballers leave litter not all just a few
