Lovely garden shop, that has all you need - ranging from houseplants to outdoor plants. The staff is very helpful, and the cat that frequents this centre was also a great addition to an overall very good experience. Also - they have real fish in one of the water features!!! Very impressive. Would definitely recommend coming here for your gardening needs, or just to explore!
What an adorable plant nursery with a greenhouse and plenty of options! Came here to get some things to repot my plant and everyone was super helpful and sweet! There is also a cat that takes the payment, that was a bonus
Such a lovely friendly place to go. The staff are always friendly and always allow my daughter to feed the fish and say hello to the cat. Over the years I have brought many plants with such a wide range to pick from. We love coming here.
Nice place to find your new plant love. Staff was amazing and really helpful . Easy place to find and if your thristy there is a pub next door. I think the place looks more like somebody's garden then a garden centre. And prepare to fall in love with their residence cat
Was going to give 5 stars but I was disappointed by my experience today. Lovely place with wide selection. I’m a strong believer in shopping locally - I understand the dedication and love it must take to run places like these. Visited last Sat and the younger staff member was so lovely and helped me pick a selection of plants for my new place, she spent loads of time helping me, put everything together and giving advice. I wanted a few to start out with for my new place with the intention of purchasing more after seeing how I fared. It was a very sunny day, I knew I may struggle with getting it right the first time with watering and explained that to her as the reason I was starting small - nonetheless, because of her great service, I left with 6 different plants 5 for a box and one climbing rose, soil, feed and knew I’d be back again once I got a feeling of the sizing for my remaining flower boxes 4 more to fill, so would probably need 20 more plants and a whole lot of soil after seeing how the current ones fit, based on pricing, that’s probably around a £300 spend and I wanted a lemon tree on top of that so that’s another few £££ for the bigger ones. Of the purchase - I got 2 Lithodora - from what I read online after, I understand these can be difficult to look after - so within 2 days they were drooping and starting to look brown, I worried I overwatered them so I rang the nursery for advice. I wasn’t looking for a refund or to make a complaint; I just wanted help on how to keep them alive and happy. I was told it may have been down to the weather we had been having but if I could hold til Sunday I could come back in and speak to Hannah, and possibly swap them out if there was root infection etc. so I took the Lithodora out of the box as I didn’t want to risk infecting the other plants and left them aside and only lightly sprayed them with water as we had heavy rainfall inbetween. When you google this information, it says dark roots are a sign of too much water, I didn’t know any better. It got to Fri, I was concerned I was leaving them too long so I rang and asked if I could come in today instead. I was only expecting to get advice on how to revive them. As I arrived, I was excited to purchase some more plants after getting advice on the Lithodora, this is where the experience ended up going downhill. Whilst the lady I spoke to had explained that the issue was actually they had dried out and I had not watered them enough - she was still kind enough to replace one of the Lithodora for me which I am grateful for and I thanked her and explained what had happened on my side, she said she understood this can be difficult and I’m glad she took the time to explain what to do, I get the frustration one might feel seeing the plants as they were, but like I said, I wasn’t there to complain. The problem was, just as I was about to ask about more plants, one of the men decided to step in mid conversation and basically berate me like I was a child. I tried to explain what I had done and he just proceeded to talk over me. I get he may have been frustrated and probably judged me, but I wouldn’t have come back if I didn’t care about my plants. Either way, I didn’t really want to stand there and deal with a bad temper, so I said thanks and made my way. I felt belittled and disheartened and ended up not getting any other plants. I made sure to thank the lovely staff member who had helped me last time before I left because I am still very grateful for the amazing job she did. Not everyone walking into the place is going to be an expert, we all start somewhere. I came as I want to learn from the experts and it makes me sad to see places lose out to the ever increasing online stores, but now I’m 50/50 on returning - On one hand, the younger staff member was an absolute credit to the nursery, on the other hand, this guy just seemed like he was taking his bad day out on me and I don’t want him to pass more judgement seeing me buy more plants. I even had a trolley cart on the way so I could come back for more plants lol.
I contacted Worlds End Nurseries about working on my garden; Jansen visited on a Friday and told me exactly how much the job would cost and how long it would take. On Monday morning , Kwame and Tom arrived at 9am . They worked non stop for over three hours in the pouring rain and wind . Not only were they brilliant at their job, they were polite . It is the third time Worlds End have worked on my garden. If your garden needs sorting out , give these guys a call . Kind regards , Eric VP
What a lovely find on a sunny afternoon! A beautiful selection of lush and flowering plants with some great ornamental pieces too loved the gorilla! And the sheep. The gardener and the cat were pleasant and let us wander about to our heart's content even after closing when the gate was shut. He - the gardener, not the cat - let us know how to escape when we were ready. Although we really could have stayed much, much longer..
Really fab garden centre in the centre of Chelsea. Really helpful staff and some nice plants Worth a browse if you are passing by and well worth popping in. Highly recommended
Amazing place and very kind employees who answers all my beginner’s questions. Definitely coming back again!
