Avoid Avoid Avoid! Went there to purchase a very expensive Oase pump. There were only empty boxes on the shelf so I asked this sales guy if they had any in stock - he very abruptly replied that they were 'behind the counter!'. We decided to have a look round before purchasing one. They had about seven or eight vats with small koi in and well over half of them were laying on the bottom dead! I kid you not, there must have been at least 200 dead fish there and no one was even tending to the problem. I went back to the sales guy, who looked like he was in a filthy mood, with the intention of mentioning these fish casualties, but thought I'd ask another question about the pump first rather than annoy him further. I politely asked him if he could match a deal I saw online from another dealer who was including hose and clips with the pump. He snappily said yeah!, so I said oh really, you'll do the hose and clips the same? He started walking away obviously still in a foul mood and muttered "yeah, for about the fifth time!" under his breath. We left the shop immediately in disgust. In all my 40 years of fish keeping I've never had such an awful experience at a koi establishment. We ended up going down the road to Swallow aquatics - what a difference, I bought the pump and a load of other bits from them - they couldn't be more helpful. I shall never set foot in World of Water again and I suggest anyone reading this follows my example.
Good selection of pond plants, amazing selection of koi, carp and goldfish and the staff were extremely nice, even giving us a discount that we didn't ask for. They have defintly earned a customer for life with us!
I been here a few weeks back omly looking at tropical fish. Wish I had bought the jack Dempsey's they looked a lot healther. Then a store I was at today
Very empty, looked like they were going out of business. Fish looked lethargic and dirty tanks. Not a lot on offer.
The whole Dutch Nursery site is being closed down. World of water is still open, low stock levels, closing permanently in about 3 weeks
I only went there to purchase a small part for a pump and I found them friendly, helpful and attentive.
One cool place to visit, so many things to see too many choices spoilt for choice.
Good place for fish and pond stuff loads of free parking good staff
Great service here. Always very helpful
Not got the wow factor and staff didn't seam bovered
