Cafe is nice, spacious, airy and clean. However food is not good. Ordered New York loaded fries. Was given a plate of lukewarm skinny chips mixed all the way through with cold grated cheese bits and hard overcooked bacon chunks. Now, one would think New York loaded fries would be a nice bowl of potato chips covered in sizzling melted cheese and bacon that had been under the grill for a few minutes. Not here. Cold, bland, absolutely disgusting.
Ordered warm toast, were overcooked and was asked to remove my phone from the plug because it was no certified ? This is the strangest excuse I have heard, from guy with white hair and shirt. Oh and the side door remained opened all the time while in November, was blowing cold air all the time. Thanks ecology and heat consumption.Food: 2/5
Stopped for a quick cuppa with my kids and parents. Similar price to the other cafes on the docks. Had a biscuit too. Service was speedy and the food . Toilets easy to access and nice and clean. Staff polite and friendly Kid-friendliness: Fairly kid friendly. High seat available and space between seating arrangements for prams. The toilets in here are also family friendly and more so than the ones in the museum which are very spread out between men's and womens. These are next to each other Wheelchair accessibility: Great...for access to disabled toilets and to negotiate between tables.
