Service was quite quick the pie had already been prepared and was just microwaved, the tikka masala was delivered to our table. Overall nice place, quite clean and very open feeling. Reasonably priced food too, considering mainly students eat here. I was a bit confused as to why i was given a huge chunk of bread with my pie though... it was quite literally bigger than the pie itself.
The food I had was good, the place was very clean and generally pleasant to spend time in. Serving staff could perhaps be a bit friendlier - I was there for about an hour and don't think I saw a single smile. Menu could also be a bit clearer - I was there around 11am and hoped to order something off the regular non-breakfast menu. It wasn't clear when this menu came into effect. Also the way I was told by the person serving it that it wasn't available yet didn't encourage me to ask when it would be available, nor did they volunteer the information themselves. End result was that I'd go there again if I needed to spend time near the cathedral, but I wouldn't seek the place out
Never been there before, but we dropped in for a coffee, food looked lovely so we both ended up having our lunch instead. Food was beautiful and the salad, well you could pick your own. We visited Paddy's Wigwam, or the Catholic Cathedral for those non Scousers. This Cafe topped, what was a Fantastic day for us both.
Surly staff, clearing food away at 2.45. No food visible to choose. One girl was busy eating each time she left kitchen area. Shame. We were looking forward to having something nice to eat. I wouldn't recommend this!
Nice food. Tasted like it was made in house. We went at a quiet time and all four of us had something different and everyone enjoyed it.
I only called in for a take-away coffee, which I do quite often because its a very nice Americano ...... but the "service" I received yesterday was so rude, miserable and completely disinterested that I won't return. Probably just one member of staff, and maybe she was having a bad day, but there was really no excuse to be so incredibly unpleasant.
I was visiting the R C Cathedral and called in to the Piazza for lunch. Lovely fresh wholesome food. Extensive salad bar. Delicious quiche. Reasonable prices and friendly, helpful staff. Will be visiting again!
Staff couldn't be bothered. Got last baked potato which was OK but overcooked. Pasty was not as good as cheapest from local supermarket. Been here before and used to be much better. Also overpriced fo what you get
Cake was stale , the tea was normal and the serving time was quick. The menu on the boards was very hard to read and the cakes had no visible prices after searching.
Rude staff. Far too expensive food. £6 for a panini and then £8.50 for an added side salad which is abysmal! Will never come here again. Would not recommend at all.
