The staff is so rude specially in the perfumes and cosmetics section . The girls have so much attitude and make unsympathetic faces while serving. All the samples always out of stock, what make think that staff just taking them to home. Doesn’t matter if you spend 20£ or 200£. The staff looking at you like you ask for alms, but they forgetting that its there job to sell this staff!
Yummy cool collection for all drinks lovers. Varieties of brand and country scotland irish Ireland durfy Bombay much more families and compaies of wishky brandy gin mojito taquellia people 2ho follows 3vwey night with boozing definitely. Complete duty free shop cost is very economic comparative outside sales shop. Vodka wine tobacco cigrattes avaliable boarding pass and passport required.only two bottles allowed to any country's. Covering good washroom inside avaliable nice representative store attenders . Strongly recommend it when you cross terminals 5 and 2 3 4 definitely visit and get alcohol to your friends and families
Lots of options. Would be good to bring back the option to pick up whisky purchases on the return flight at arrivals.
This rating is for the very helpful staff who took utmost care while packing our purchases. We bought alcohol and both things we bought had the best price even compared to the same product on sale in Tesco. Best to reserve online beforehand for the best, most time efficient experience
The staff is so rude specially in the perfumes sections. The girls have so much attitude and make unsympathetic faces while serving. The customer service is so bad that it makes you not buy anything from there. They had the rudest customer service compared to all other shops in the terminal
Some of the rudest people I have come across. I fly about twice a month and have been using Terminal 5 since it was built. As with the building and notoriously bad security the duty free people have succumbed to poor and dilapidated service. A real shame as I used to spend a fortune in there. If you are travelling to the Middle East or even Paris CDG there are better option, prices and friendlier people there. I would give this a miss until someone improves things there. If it happens I will let you know but I’m not holding my breath.
Went in looking for Havana Club as this is not available in US. Must have entered the whisky section by accident was set upon and guided to an unknown £80 bottle of whisky that was allegedly the last one. When I said I was just looking and not a whisky drinker I was ushered out and thanked for coming. Terrible service as a platinum club duty free member
The staff are not helpful enough to help me find the makeup I need. The makeup products I wanted to buy always unavailable although advertised. However still better than the smaller terminals.
Don’t buy here!!! This is a scam, be careful and check the receipt! I was buying three perfumes. Based on the prices displayed at the store I needed to pay around $160-$170 depending on exchange rate . The cashier said it’s $203. I checked the prices on the computer there were different that the prices displayed in store. He said “well there is discount up to 40% and it comes to this price”. I was trying to explain him that I’m not even talking about the discount, I’m talking about the prices which are displayed in stores and the ones on computer are different. Long story short they ended up telling me that’s because I was paying with my phone and not with a card ????? and If I have a card on me suddenly it will be the price I was trying to explain that I need to pay. So paying with a phone has $30 charge or what? Ridiculous! SCAMMERS!!!
I was given very good advice on perfumes before taking my flight to Paris this evening. Thank you
