Always a friendly face to offer advice. Great collection of wines especially in the mid segment. I love browsing and the staff are more than happy to share their opinions especially on the new world offerings.
I went into this shop last night to buy some wine for a dinner party I was attending. I know very little about wine but the lady informed me of what to get and advised me very well. I brought a red and white bath organic, both very reasonably priced. When I took them to the party everyone loved them and I wish I got more bottles. I didn’t catch the ladies name but she was tall and pretty. I would like to thank her for her advice and if I’m in the area I’ll definitely be going back.
Love this place. Whilst it is mainly wines I go there for beers every so often. They have a good rotation policy so there is something different every time. Staff always friendly and helpful.
Shocking! I was informed by the member of staff on enquiring that the new Oddbins oddyssey initiative was quote rubbish! He talked like he wasn't part of Oddbins but I assume he expects to be paid by them each month. Very dissapointing experience, same old staff thinking they know best. Sad as I am sure they have some fantastic wines and beers.
Wide selection of Italian wines ! They recommended us about 20 of them but finally we chose the Fiano di Avellino de Falco and we didn't regret. If you want a classy wine for a good price - just visit this shop.
Perhaps I had a bad experience, but the member of staff was quite insulting. Doubt I would go in there again.
Always helpful and they sell Dab lager which I generally can't find elsewhere
