Lovely room, very clean and fresh looking, fantastic breakfast, happy to cater to your tastes; good choice of cereals. Very attentive host who takes an interest in your stay and happy to make reservations for meals out and give recommendations

What a lovely little B&B. A very warm welcome and helpful information regarding the area and parking on arrival.
The room we were in was spotless with everything one would need, especially a piece of homemade flapjack instead of incipid hotel biscuits (good choice).
Breakfast was of expectedly high quality with, once again, everything one would want.
Without doubt we will return next time we are in the area for a night.

Workington House is run by a lovely couple and is immaculately clean and well maintained throughout. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice - nothing was too much trouble! The room was beautifully decorated and quiet and the bed itself very comfortable. A great stay, thank you!

The owners were friendly and it was nice and clean, the let down was the main road which kept me awake all night
