Parked right outside the front door, it was disc parking but if your up for breakfast and out the door before 9:30am you have nothing to worry about. Staff are amazing at this hotel. They will be attend to you at a moments notice and are keen to help. Night porter is such a nice guy comes straight to the door to let you in after a late night and doesn’t complain if it’s 11pm or 3am he’s there. Check in was pleasant easy and fast. Our rooms were dated but spotless and cleaning staff approach you to see if you would like it serviced 👍 highly recommend if your looking for more of a personal stay. Cannot rate the staff highly enough thank you for making our trip so easy and pleasant.

Very good value, the room decor is a little dated , but mine was clean and had everything I needed for a one night stay. The staff were all very friendly and did everything to ensure that I had an enjoyable stay. Outside door is locked at midnight, but a quick call through to the night porter got it opened with no hassle. Parking is on street- disk, but again I had no problems finding a space. I understand Disks are available at reception. The breakfast was excellent and definitely hit the spot after a night out in Workington.

"FANTASTIC VALUE" A great local hotel, that has a lovely bar area with helpful and friendly staff. The waverley hotel also offers a great and wide range of proper homely and hearty pub grub classics that are all freshly made on site. All of this is offered at a really reasonable low price. With early bird offers from 5:30 to 6:30 pm every day, with a main course only costing a mere £5:95 Which is fantastic value for money for what you get, in my humble opinion. Other offers are also available, Such as the afternoon offer "THE PENSIONERS AND SHOPPERS SPECIAL" where you can get three courses for £6:95 Afternoon tea is also available. I highly recommend trying this place out, how can you afford not to at these prices?

We had the 3 course Sunday dinner for £10, top quality food and friendly staff, highly recommended

Food is much improved, however the main course was not very hot. Overall, it was a nice meal
